i would suggest you double check you file path as specified in your spreadsheet. Make sure it is correct and that the file names of the images are correct.
Hey Sir. I have a question. For database, price said currency symbol and 0 decimal place but you put one…was that an error or I’m supposed to do that too?

How to get files in Onedrive - Personal?...I am asking this bcoz i have already used shared file in windows explorer in onedrive - personal for almost 2 years now..but suddenly i stopped showing and syncing shared with me folder in my explorer... I already tried these : 1. unlink and relikng account. 2. uninstall and reinstall onedrive. 3. relaunching onedrive. 4. restarting PC. 5. after uninstall i removed all local files and reinstalled still no use. 6. windows is up to date . i already checked. 7. one drive is up to date. 8. revoking access and giving access again but no use (here i also tried doing uninstallation, relink etc.). PLz help.....
Thanks for this resource! I am also getting the error, "A field calculation error occurred in record #". I don't have any calculations in my workbook. I also created a new one from scratch and that didn't fix it, either. I've been googling like crazy with no solution. I'm doing the merge from a folder on my desktop, not in the cloud. It's only like 4 merge fields (a name, a date, a $, and a number). Is it mad because my document is 30 pages long?
Adding: It leaves me with the saved files having that error message listed 3 times, and then it has OPEN the documents done correctly but named wrong, so I still have to Save As.
I would first test with a single page document to see if that is the issue and go from there. If the single page document gives you the same error then you will need to check the collum titles in the spreadsheet so that they are correct and check that the file paths are also corrrect.et me know how it goes.
@@kelseyberteaux6093 it could be a memory (ram) issue. You could try on another device or increase the number of pages when you merge till you find the limit . I have never merged a doc more than 15 pages long.
Thanks for the very detailed presentation. I have a small question, i didn't see such an option in your Video. I want to create a service to book a course, is there a way to prevent a user to book the same course more than once ?
Sorry for delayed response. Unfortunately this is not an option in bookings and is a well known issue. I discourage multiple bookings by requiring users to enter a one time password to make their booking. This required them to enter a valid email address. The other way to combat this is if the users booking are all in your company then you could make an MS Form which people can only submit once and after they have completed a simple form like name and email it will give them the link to the booking page. As the form is set up for only 1 response then they can only make 1 booking (unless they copy the url). As i said there is not inbuilt way.

Makesure you are not saving the files in a synced cloud folder like onedrive or in a protected location. Use documents or desktop location. Make sure you have acurately entered the folder locations in the spreadsheet. Make sure the headings of the columns in the spreadsheet are exactly correct unless you have changed the code. Let me know how it goes. Your error is related to it not finding the folder locations so double check everything.

Make sure the paths are correctly identified in the spreadsheet. Nake sure rhe headings are exactly as i named them unless you modified the code. Do not use a synced cloud drive as your location to save the files. Your error is related to it not being able to find the path you directed it to save the files. Let me know how it goes.

@@SandraMeechamyeah probably. I had another person that was trying to get this working with a mac. Cant remeber the outcome. Have a look through the comments and you may find the comment and maybe find an answer.it should work on a mac providing the path name is correct and accessible without access restrictions. Let me know how it goes.
they have a copy of the protected doc. This way they can test their code and see if they got all the answers correct. if not then the doc does not open. When they open the doc they read the instructions and send you an email or give you the secret message in the document. If you do use this i would love to hear feedback from you and how your students found it.

That is amazing, well done. I am glad the tutorials helped you. Thank you for coming back and letting us know how you did. We have moved from A level ICT to Computer science but i have not had the time to produce videos on these subjects. For ICT a lot of the material used in the IGCSE is relevant, the main difference is you are not guided on which formulas to use and you will need to build formulas by nesting formulas in Excel. For Databases it is quite similar but what most students find difficult is normalizing tables to create relational databases. Other components are multimedia components and this really depends on the software used by the exam center.
A job like this can be a bit overwhelming. However, if you are planning to buy a new one why not give it a go, especially if you are planning to throw out the old one. The best way to learn is to practice with zero risk and as you have decided to throw it out anyway, you have zero risk, apart for the 30 odd dollars you are going to spent on the replacement keyboard.

Hi, this is fantastic! It worked like a charm when I tried it as an example. However, now that I try it again with final set of images I have, I get an error "Error! Bookmark not defined." I have the same full folder and file path in excel. When I toggle the bookmark I see INSERTPICTURED:\FOLDER1\Temp.PNG. Please help
that error is associated with it not being able to find the files. Check your paths to the pictures. Let us know if you getting working and what your issue was as it could help others.
When I click "create" I can see that it wants to create separate documents, but it doesn't. I'm getting the sense that it has something to do with being synced to One Drive. How do I circumvent this?
Do not use a synced folder like onedrive as your target folder to create the files. Change the target folders to a filder on the desktop or any other llocal location whic does not require elevated user access. Your documents folder will also work.
Great step by step presentation, thank you. Good to learn to start with Forms for Excel. A question please - Do you have a video or steps on how to get multi-choice text answers from a question in Forms, to populate into separate columns when the results appear in Excel? Currently all the answers are appearing in one cell separated by semicolons. I'm hoping there's a nice solution as the results appear, rather than having to manipulate the text after in Excel. Thanks
I would need to see an example but from what you have explained, directly from Forms no. From Excel though it is a simple task of selecting the data with the answers separated with ; from the Data ribbon select Text to Columns, Click next and in the section, other, for the separator enter semi colon. ; Your answers will be separated in to columns.
@@paphitisn Thank you, yes, I have been able to do the Text to Columns. Unfortunately the options don't necessarily appear in the same columns, because Forms is not counting blanks. So I have to do a lot of manipulation of the text in Excel. Is there a way to add something (like "n/a") for options that are not selected by the responder when they fill out the form? Perhaps that would let all the options or "n/a" appear in the correct column? Thank you again

I was trying to merge a document into individual files and all of the other video tutorials caused my images to disappear and the document spacing to get thrown way out of wack. Hey Nicos, this is a GREAT demo, in fact it could be the best I've watched (and I've watched LOADS). I really like your presentation, delivery, step flow: where you're not 'fluffy' nor spend time on additional info (like the formulas). I also like that you don't going on and on and on about background what you can use the form for and so forth (which again, anyone wanting to know the 'meat' of the how-to doesn't actually require. You also have clear English and didn't seem to talk to fast where I had to 'rewind' to catch what you were demonstrating. So, what about the things I didn't find helpful or like..... hmmm, I have to think really hard and get back to you on that one........... In the meantime, MANY THANKS! 😉

I use hot air gun, that way when i lift the metal plate - plastic rivets thin out and are easy to put on the metal back on. But marking is a great idea, as i sometimes skip one or two..
Have not tried using hot. My fear was that you would not have to peel off the back plate in parts as you would not be able to remove the back plate in one due to the rivets cooling down. Possibly running the risk of either bending the back plate or overheating the face plate of the keyboard. If it worked for you that is great. If you can reuse the entirety of the rivets to refasten the new keyboard then that is perfect.
