If I ever went back to a sedan the Camry would be my choice hands down. I had a 2010 SE which was nicely equipped and only had to replace tires. I put 45K miles on the car with no issues.
To be honest this is the absolute best everyday car you can drive, it's well engineered, it's fuel efficient, it handles well the Camry you just can't go wrong with it, It has a strong reputation for being once was and still is one of the Top and Best selling most reliable Sedans in the Country, if not the Globe by now, I have a 2020, LE no Complaints at all, Very Safe and Great everyday car, I don't think this vehicle would have the Reputation it does have if it just wasn't so, it's been for sale globally for over 40 years now or close to that, and it's probably a car they will continue to improve, and build better until they fully run out of Design ideas for it.
@@zn6151 Yes. There is a 10 mile stretch called Woodward Ave in Royal Oak, MI. Every stop light was green and the vehicle was coasting in EV mode over the entire 10 mile stretch and was doing 45-50 mph the entire time. Crazy. It just kept going up and up in EV mode.
@@zn6151 agree! I have a 2015 Prius hybrid that can get as low as 24MPG driven hard with 215 tires (100% dealer maintained) so don’t always believe the numbers. But I still love the practicality of a Prius I want this Camry for the transmission tho.
I just brought the 2021 LE and I love it. I just needed something quick, in my budget, and reliable so I didn't care about having all the luxury features. The only thing I hate is the design/quality of the cloth seats and having no air vent for the backseat. Instead there's just an empty space which looks stupid. If they weren't going to include it in LE which I think they should have (since when did having air vents become a luxury feature?) they should have left the empty space out because it looks cheap and unfinished.
I have a 2021 Toyota Camry SE. It has everything I would ask for in a car. It gives me good economy, without sacrificing performance. It's definitely a top notch ride!!
Thank you very much! Liked, subscribed and shared. My absolute favorite RU-vid channel by far. Most thoroughly honest review of any car I’ve watched on RU-vid. Hope your channel grows!
Have a 2010 model, brilliant cars. Not fussed on the newer ones styling but that's subjective. Mine's only got 242000kms on it so plenty of life left yet. It's cost me $300 in repairs in 3 years.
the Camry LE w/ AWD + convenience package is the best value coming in at 31K for the average sedan seeker. if you're looking for a little more luxury the XSE AWD w/ panoramic roof coming in at 35.5K is the way to go!
LE Camry is the base level Camry. I’m in Australia in January 2024 I paid a deposit for a base level Hybrid Camry Ascent model with 17 inch wheels and expect delivery end of February 2024 but it’s built in December 2023 I think. Camrys are hard to come by till end of 2024 I think. I understand satellite navigation is optional in the ascent hybrid model. It’s a shame satellite navigation is not included by Toyota to a such a beautiful sedan.
Love this car . Very decent every day car and affordable . ❤ proper care you ride this baby 😊till the wheels fall off . Honestly save money and put some leather seat covers in there if you don’t care about fancy stuff
I got 2023 se hybrid nightshade really cool car specialy with 19 inch trd wheels but got some weird old infotainment system still don’t have hd radio can’t believe this ))
I think one would be hard pressed to find a better mid size sedan in base trim for the money. Dependable good looking transportation on a budget. With a history of great resale. However I am avoiding Toyota until they stop charging subscription fees for things like remote start and heated seats.
@@SSS-wo2hn its bmw that charges for heated seats unless they backpedaled from it. Toyota you can get aftermarket remote starter and works better. Currently have an aftermarket remote starter on my 2020 corolla LE
You did not mention if it has the tire pressure gauge. I thought it did. Was very interested to know as it is a very important safety feature. Ladies hardly ever physically check tire pressure. So the pressure gauge would be a great help
I noticed everyone that has a video on a car when the trims are LE, OR SE they always put down how fast the car goes for the LE. Like how fast do you need to go no ones drag racing or running a race like geessh get over the speed already it's a reliable car.
I'm confused between this and Rav4 LE. Personally, I like Rav4 more, but I want to know about ride quality if there is any different and the whole driving experience
If you equip the LE with the convenience package you get a leather wrapped wheel heated seats a sunroof audio plus wireless charging for your phone and push start also a auto dimming rear view mirror along with Blind spot monitors.
@@VidNibs agree 100%. I’m so glad that Toyota still offers a genuine ‘base package’. I couldn’t care less about a “leather” steering wheel, vinyl seats, sunroof or needless electronics. Your dollars go so much further with the base!
They really didn’t update anything like the infotainment system or giving safety sense 3.0 instead of 2.5+. They really are saving everything for the complete redesign in 2024. Definitely wouldn’t pop for the 2023. Just wait for next year
Why not? The 2023 will have all of the bugs worked out. 2024 will start off with transmission issues or whatever, just like the last few generations. I never buy the first year redesign of anything.
@@SirD31V1D I've found that googling i.e. "2020 toyota corrolla issues" to be fairly reliable when it comes to early defects/problems on newer vehicles. There are forums for everything, and complaints to go with it. I knew about the potential torque converter issue on my 14 camry before I got the notice from toyota. BTW, toyota just replaced the torque converter under warranty at 8 years old and 86k miles. Free of charge. Best customer service I've ever had with a vehicle. I'm a toyota customer for life.
@@ricko3242 I'm agree, it may be too early to notice issues in this new generation of Corollas. I'm also a Toyota customer, I'm currently owning 2017 Corolla LE and 2018 Corolla LE (Same silver color) and not regrets. Really cheap to service both cars. Appreciate your feedback. :")
Like everything else, today's basic is yesterday's deluxe. At this point I feel like everything beyond most modern base models is just a load of expensive gimmicks to inflate the price.
I bought a Honda CRV and it was ok..no fun to drive and not fun to drive or ride in for that matter as it has a covered wagonlike ride. I have a 22 Camry SE and could not be happier with my choice. Much more fun to drive..great handling and a much better ride. Seats are a world better than the Honda and i get over 40 mpg on trips.
Fail. No mention that the Dynamic Force 2.5 liter engine is new for Camry in2023. Has combined direct and port injection. Also the 8 speed is new for the Camry.
The 2.5 dynamic Force engine and 8-speed transmission came out in 2018 as all new and it is still being used today and will be in the future.. it is a great engine very reliable and fuel efficient.. The only difference is software tweaks.
I think it's a law that new cars have the auto stop. Most come with a simple button that will disabled it. But you have to press it every time you start the car also you can have a mechanic bypass it.
Whines about no push to start, ignores all the advanced safety euipment including standard pedestrian detection and auto emergency braking, not to mention stellar MPG.
I dunno the dealer added a bunch of non sense add ons to the cost of the vehicle doesn’t the vehicle come with two free oil changes when you first purchase it?
I did learn you can have the dealer remove toyoguard. If the vehicle has not been built Or If it has been built but has not left the port Or The Inventory manager just has to go into the vehicle “add ons” and UN-select Toyoguard. The general manger found out the sales person lied to me so he refunded me $699!
@@americandude3825 It is a major rip off.. It was on my 2020 Toyota Camry XLE and my sister's 2023 XSE. They won't take it off.. both cars were north of 40 Grand.. like we needed any MORE unnecessary charges...😕
My concern is Toyota will pivot to Turbocharged engines soon much like Honda and Mazda have. Perhaps they will continue to offer the base with a naturally aspirated engine. If you plan to keep your car for 10+ years I would steer clear of turbocharged engines personally.
The SE has a terrible cheap unpainted grainy plastic flat grill that gets water spots on it and ages badly.. The front end on the LE is much better and has better quality materials.. If you want that front end you better spring for the XSE .
@@vahagnkarapetyan1162 The SE and LE are base models. They don't come with any extras and you can't get leather or heated seats with them as well as full LED lights.. you can make either one of those decent if you add the convenience package which gives you push start and blind spot monitor.. hopefully the next generation of the SE will not have that cheap unfinished splotchy black plastic grill. It looks terrible.. the same as that cheap material that they used on the base Corollas front end.
@@vahagnkarapetyan1162 Good luck with your base SE. I don't have no le.. I have a new XLE and my sister has a new XSE and they both cost north of $40,000.. We don't buy base trims.. We have heads up display and sonar parking sensors on the bumper panoroof and JBL sound systems..
