First ride at KickIn Roost MX on my 2023 Husqvarna TX300 Heritage Edition with WP Pro Components suspension: WP Cone Valve spring forks (previous generation black ones) and WP Pro TRAXX shock set up by Brad at Rideworx suspension ( www.rideworxsuspension.com ) The black WP CV forks are plush and absorbing on little chop with a friction free feel (more friction free feeling than the latest WP CV spring forks). The WP TRAXX shock is plush yet well damped and the TRAXX feature helps provide excellent bump absorption under acceleration and also reduces rear wheel chatter under braking entering corners. WP Pro suspension is expensive but when set up by properly works so well it helps justify the cost.
The TX300 is versatile....

Other thoughts on the '23 TX300.....
The subtle changes to the Husky plastic (smaller radiator shrouds, narrower front fender, and thinner seat) all combine to give the TX300 a smaller and more compact feel up front compared to the KTM 300XC. The TX300 air intake is on the left side cover so it has a little less intake noise and is more protected from the elements compared to the under the seat intake on the KTM 300XC. The 2023 Husky Heritage Edition models styling and colors are simple yet stand out get lots of thumbs up from other riders at the track.
More detailed thoughts on the engine and chassis....
The all new 300 TBI 2-stroke engine with electronic power valve and throttle body fuel injections sets the bar for big power and strong linear partial throttle response. With a white map (smoother power) and green map (quicker RPM build and more power up top) it is easy to change the character of the engine with the push of a button. This engine is fast and fun to ride with almost no vibration. It runs clean with Motorex 2-stroke oil mixed at 60:1 and premium pump gas.
The chassis is a great combination of cornering and stability at speed with excellent ergos. The BrakTec brakes have OK stopping power (not Brembo level) with a little less initial bite and a little more modulation at the lever. The stock AER forks work well especially after about 4~5 hours and if you take the time to dial in fork pressure and clicker settings for different conditions and rider weights. The new for '24 model year close cartridge spring forks are better for most riders. For off road riding I prefer the Comfort settings (and perhaps a click or two softer) in the forks and shock. The stock rear shock takes about 4~6 hours to break in and works well. I run clickers in the 18~20 range with HSC about 2.5 out. The stock 4.2 spring is a little soft for my 6'2" 190lb body and I have a 4.5 spring to install but the bike has been works so well I have little motivation to change it.

Husky no longer makes a Heritage Edition - they at least went back to white front and rear fenders for 2025

Yes I need to confirm all the clicker settings! I was surprised how firm it felt - especially after riding my 24.5 450 Factory Edition...makes me think the changes to the frame for more compliance on the 24.5/25 models might be more effective than I thought!

Check sag on rear shock, might be too soft/too deep in the stroke. Then go 2 clicks out on HS damp, at least 1 click out on rebound to stop packing. Then pin it! Braaap!
