Beautiful, Aston nailed it on the re -designed of the Vantage. But wow, for the significant price increase over it's predecessor it's going to be a hard sell for over $400K.

In the USA the base price has gone up by about $35,000. My first thought was that the price increase was too steep, but then I changed my mind when I considered that it now has about the same power as the previous generation Vantage V12, which was a significantly more expensive car. Look at it in these terms and it’s a bargain.

If only there was a normally aspirated version and, like the Victor, this Vantage had a manual shift. I'm sure potential buyers would willingly sacrifice 150bhp-or-so from the big bi-turbos for the added driving engagement a manual shift offers. After all, as far as I know, the only car in the same kind-of class, with a manual shift, is a Porsche 911. And, but for the Targa, 911s are so ubiquitous. This Vantage will be so much more rare and looks absolutely stunning with that improved 177 front end.

Its not. Its the new AMG engine. The same as the new AMG GT

The base price in the USA for this new model is $191k, a price increase of about $35k. To get the same level of performance in the prior model meant buying the Vantage V12 for $300k. So given that the new model is a heck of a lot more than just a face lift (there are other videos that get into specific details) I would say that the $35k price increase is easily justified.

So pretty I normally love silver but for this car it's not working. The launch color that bright green perfection for the looks of this beauty and I hate green cars 😂 but somehow it works for the new vantage!

Unfortunately you are 💯 correct. The new DB 12 which has already landed ,all of them are having computer faults. But I expect soon that all the problems will have been sorted out. But what a beautiful vantage this is.
