Haptic touch can be disabled. I just bought this car in this exact spec and the first thing I did was to disable this feature as I found it annoying. Gorgeous car both inside and out. Not very sporty IMO. It is a very smooth driver. Suspension is a bit soft. Stereo is terrific. Tons of room both front and rear. I got a great deal on a CPO which is the way to go.
Manufacturers need to stop with all these screens. They must be forced to give buttons for all the major functions i.e. rotary switches for volume, tuning and temp up/down. And normal buttons for other freq-used functions. Also, absolutely no 'touch buttons' on steering wheel. Only one screen, the main gauge cluster which should show the map for navigation and for settings, etc. Today's cars are unsafe and dangerous as they have too many screens which are distracting drivers. Not to mention, after only about 3 years they become outdated and useless paperweights. I suppose that's what the manufacturers want. They want people to throw away their cars after 4/5 years and keep buying new ones!
Totally agree - I often times find myself digging through screens just to change a small setting all while driving! Kinda wild to think about. The A6 does a pretty good job of giving us buttons in general I totally agree haha!
The boot lock feature is neat but it’s been standard in all Models since quite sometime. Also, if the key is inside the vehicle, it won’t lock and hence you won’t get locked out of your car. Same behavior when you lock using keyless touch
@@Joe-Markus I’ve always liked the A6 for its understated nature. But it’s just a difficult to sell a traditional saloon shape without at least a bit of innovation in its design to me. 10 years ago, a hard yes. Also the grill is nice looking but it’s getting to basking shark territory and I wonder how all these huge grills will look to us in the future when the trend dies… this is coming from a bmw design sympathiser though so maybe I’m just crazy 😂
Well, my 17 Elantra I bought new just turned 102.000 miles. Has had 0 repairs, and has 0 issues. Only things replaced on it is 1 battery, and a new set of tires. Everything works perfectly including the AC, . Engine runs like new, uses no oil between changes. I did enjoy your video.
@johnfranklin5277 that’s awesome! I love Hyundai - we used to have a SantaFe until we outgrew it. Thank you for your support! Really appreciate you! More content coming soon!
