2024 BMW iX M60 Review: EV Crossover for Driving Enthusiasts? 

Nice review! I prefer the iX styling opposed to the EQE SUV. I don’t think that’s saying much, though. I currently have a MB GLE and I wish there was an iX5 or even EQGLE(?) option.

Enjoyed the video, good information, good comments. I’ve had my iX M60 for 3 months and 3000 miles of highway and in-town driving. The styling has grown on me and as I checked out other EV and ICE cars, the aerodynamic, swept back, minimalist styling seems to be gaining favor. I like the styling now. I agree the seats are very plush, but wish they had given me an adjustable headrest. This car is the smoothest, quietest car of all the EV’s I tested and certainly of any ICe car, I’ve ridden or driven. Hands down, not even close. The car is luxurious and dramatic on the inside. I love the extended control screens. As to performance, it is an almost 3 ton car, so no, you can’t push it hard in the corners, but you can come out of the corners smoking. The acceleration is dramatic. In conclusion, I would lease the car again. It is FUN to drive. Thanks for the video.

HEY! from Boston! 1) LOVE you guys - great review. 2) I bought the iX 50 a few months ago and LOVE IT! The styling has definitely grown on me. I test drove the Mercedes EQS, Lexus RZ, Ford Mustang, Tesla Y, Jaguar I-pace, Volvo C40, Genesis G70… and the BMW is by far my favorite. Of course it’s more expensive but it’s worth it. The range consistently exceeds BMW’s own estimate of 310 miles per change. Usually around 350 (Edmunds tested it at 377 miles). Absolutely fantastic car. BONUS: I also loved the I-Pace and the Genesis. I did not like the Mustang or the Lexus. Hated the Tesla!! ❤🎉😊

Nice review. B mode slows down the power delivery and speed substantially than D. Fast? My M60 beat the M3 Comp on our local BMW M Drive event autocross by 5 sec. It hit 91mph on the 1/8 strait, and the M3C only hit 67. Professional factory drivers.

How does the ix interior space compare to the etron?

For way less money, I think GM did it right with the Lyriq. Way better looking, and you save a bunch of cash, get longer range, and get a much quieter ride. I just don't understand BMWs EVs at this point, they may be faster, but the look doesn't fit a $100K+ vehicle.

It’s an impressive car but they need to go back to the drawing board on the styling. People will drive an ugly Prius (excluding the most recent one) and feel virtuous but a big expensive BMW needs to be more rewording to look at.
