I just ordered my 50e last week, and it will have 8.5. Saw an article online that, as of August 2023, the 8.5 version should be in all new 50e’s delivered after that date. If yours is 4 weeks old at your post, it “might” just be very close to the 8.0 vs 8.5 timeframe.
Why do Europeans get all-metal roofs and standard suspension as base, but Americans are forced to get glass roofs and air suspension (both of which are prone to breaking and add weight and a lot to the MSRP)??? Grrr….
That’s the beauty of this model! You don’t have to pick because you have best of both worlds. No range anxiety. Solid car. Doing very well in America so I disagree with you. Drove this as loaner for few days I’m sold! Getting one too….you see them around now…Amazing reliability. Have you even driven or owned one? Hope so otherwise you don’t know what you’re talking about.
