Sweet beautiful Electric Cadillac vehicle! Didn’t even know that the Lyriq Luxury 3 has the 1-SPD direct drive. Did you know that Cadillac is making more EV vehicles.
All EV’s and Hybrids are one speed. Cadillac is coming out with the Optiq, that’s a little smaller than the Lyriq next month, that’s the one I’m waiting for.
I doubt I will any time soon, nobody in my area seems to care about Cadillac. When I see luxury cars it’s either a Lexus, or German. If it’s electric it’s either Tesla, Hyundai, or Mach E. I can’t even remember the last time I saw a Cadillac that wasn’t an Escalade.
Just took possession of a Lyriq Sport 3. I also own a Mach E. Despite both being mid sized SUVs they are very different cars. The Cadillac has a much more refined ride and luxurious interior, the Ford is much sportier in it's handling and doesn't feel so heavy. One the whole the Ford has a better UI on the software. The STUPIDEST thing on the Cadillac is the inability to turn off the fake engine noise like you can on the Ford.
Agreed! I own a 24 sport 3 and a 24 Mach E and one of the first things I tried to do was turn off the fake motor sound and soon realized that it couldn't be turned off😢. I also agree with the handling. The mache e is way more agile and I have no problem driving aggressively. But the Lyriq commands a lighter foot, even though it has way more power and speed than the Mach-E. However, I do find opportunities to pass people on the freeways!😉
It is the status of super cruise. When it's green, it tells you you can go hands free. It will flash yellow or red for warning or that it's disengaging. Quite clever and in your line of sight.
There is no comparison of this beautiful car to a Tesla, not to mention color choices. Way to go Cadillac. Elon you need to get a new Design and Style Team, plus your colors are awful.
Too gimmicky and cheap looking in person. That plastic grille cover? The tacky light show? I wouldn't buy insurance or a house from someone who drives one. It's more like a toy for immature people, for low self-esteem folks who think showing off is somehow not thirsty. It's not a serious vehicle for agenda driven motorists.
