2024 CADILLAC LYRIQ | THE MOST LUXURIOUS AMERICAN EV?! 

Just got my Lyriq 3 weeks ago and I completely LOVE IT!

You’re like one of very few people to actually appreciate the design of the Lyriq for the craftsmanship and detail that it displays. I’ve never seen any other review of this car that highlighted the fact that the speaker grilles in the front doors weren’t just speaker grilles, they were blocks nearly as wide as the front doors and you can see the real metal stretches from the speaker grille down the doors. I’ve never seen metal used like that before in any other luxury vehicle. Same for the ambient lighting, it’s backlit behind real metal that shimmers during the day. First of its kind. It takes a foreigner to appreciate the design of a new Cadillac, go figure. Great review man! 🥂

Great video, and I think a very smart decision by Calillac. One electric drivetrain is going to be almost identical to another, so how do you differenciate your car from the luxury EV pack? Cadillac have built a car for the audiophile, now they just need to market it as smartly as they've built it.

After experiencing the 19-speaker AKG sound system in the Escalade I knew the Lyriq’s 19-speaker AKG sound system would be phenomenal. The Escalade’s upgraded 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference audio system is the best sound system on the market in my opinion. You’re also not the first or only person to compare the Cadillac Lyriq to Rolls Royce. You can certainly tell the Lyriq is related to the $300,000+ Celestiq. I hope this level of craftsmanship trickles down into the entry level Cadillac Optiq as well.

We own a Lyriq 3. This is far from a sports car, but if you want something the eat up miles in total comfort and silence, you will not beat a Lyriq.

Zooming the same frame in/out feels bad, use edits and different compositions. Camera movement in/out with fixed focal length is ok, but only do it one way in the same frame.

I find the speakers to be trash! I had a ct5 with bose performance speaker and they were way better. Idk maybe it's my audio file but I use Google to stream.

@savagegeese The reviewers (at 4:22 and 11:23) think the AKG sound system sounds great, which I mention because while they might not be audio engineers (though who knows? Maybe they are) clearly how sound is interpreted carries a degree of subjectivity. In other words, your view of the Lyriq's sound system is no more valid than anyone else's and certainly isn't as definitive as you make it out to be.
