I love Dust, she’s winning fights both as attacker and defender for me. Might sound crazy but I’m really tempted to take her to r3 over Onslaught (I do already have a maxed 6* Onslaught).

I think Bullseye's saving grace as an attacker is that since all his attacks are crits he benefits insanely from nodes that modify attack. This is most clearly seen in incursion with the fury/unblockable hack but anytime he gets an outside fury for any reason he instantly becomes a damage god. He is amazing for the mercenary quest in EQ and not being able to miss is so nice.

All the mid Champs from last year where buffed so I have hope

I think you may end up being wrong about spider punk. Duped, he has some of the best control of opponents power in the game. Not a universal tool, but still very useful in a lot of places. Rupture immunity and very solid burst damage to boot too. I wouldn't put him at the top of this list, but above a few of these others for sure.

I have a hot take: Negasonic is not very good. She is not. Look at her numbers and her identity. She does one thing. I have a sneaky feeling that Bullseye will fall off and not stand the test of time where someone like Serpent will. Call me crazy, I would not invest in Negasonic, at least not yet.

Sounds like white tiger is overrated a bit

Serpent is actually crazy. He has scales like crazy with everything and he is immune to heal block and fate seal.

Would you R2 a 7* Serpent unawakaned or R5 and ascend a 6* with high sig?

Champs this year have been Super Underwhelming 😢 compared to last year since they are all 7* now that can go to r6 its like kabam is afraid to give them relevant damage which sucks its almost like every champ this year besides the defenders need a tune up of some kind 😢.😊

Iron Heart would have been better if there’s an alternative way of pausing her debuffs. Her damage mainly comes from her sp2 if you’re looking for speed, for instance in BG with short- medium health pool. You mostly find yourself at the mercy of AI to use their specials so that you don’t have debuffs falling off before your sp2.

Serpent got the crown for me… slaps on defence and helped me on my final 2 paths of necropolis (I never ranked ægon I find him useless)…. Pulled him as 7* and thinking to r3 him asap

Onslaught is a push over lol.. I rarely have issues fighting him... bullseye is always giving me issues

In 2024, if a tech champ is not fully immune to domino and havok, then they lose value if their ease to high damage output is not close to shocker. Old tech champs already have a lot of utility in them

I think you’re being harsh on serpents offense. I mean either way he’s easily number 1 for me cuz he’s the most op defender ever. But he’s not just a defender, and has good offensive uses aswell, especially in questing scenarios, but also sometimes in bgs.

I will take no IronHeart slander. If you just think she’s not the fastest champion and that’s why you don’t rank her highly I will agree with that but saying she needs more utility?? That’s just a bad take. Also, in the average meta she’s a solid 45- 50 second a fight champ. I know that “slow” but that’s definitely a winnable time.

Serpent is an instant ban no matter where he’s ranked, also Bulls Eye if he is maxed up gone

New champs are not just powerful on their own plus the nodes, Kabam is essentially manipulating the AI according to the champions they are releasing, sometimes I just feel pity on Kabam, how much they are forced to win over talent and skill using literally any method possible, sow Onslaught apparently doesn’t have any recovery time from block, special, knock down, I’m just glad that it doesn’t recover after dying. 😂

I’m behind on videos but you nailed it on the top 2. They aren’t well designed champions. Just cheap bullshit that helps you win. I used to enjoy 4th of July deals but I could not be less excited because of the direction of the game.

I honestly don't know what they were thinking with Serpent as a defender. Like wtf??!?! There is no way to fight him and end up with at least 90% of health...

and people say this year has good attackers when they are basically mid. like if u cant even bring them into bgs or aw, they are basically worthless

@kt1 I love a lot of what you do. Been watching for a long time and we talked a few times back when I was on Line app. I'm going to give you some advice- stop making these new champ videos. They just aren't necessary. Most of these champs are irrelevant to the game. You spent 10 minutes on the intro and first 2 champs - that's just a waste of your time and the viewers. There may be a handful of viewers who want that info but the vast majority of players just want to know if a new champ is someone they should rank up- period. And that should basically be covered in a tier list video. So you spend a lot of your time making a 30 minute plus video in which viewers are going to watch a couple minutes on the truly relative champs. Another reason to drop these videos too is because it just delays or may stop the list videos viewers truly care about. Back at the end of 2023 you had such an ambitious schedule with all these videos that life happened and you missed out making the ones people truly cared about since you back loaded the important ones. LSS save your time and stop making these new champ videos or at least of you are going to do them, spend like 30 seconds on the ones that suck and greatly shorten the time you spend. You don't owe anyone 3 minutes on why you think a new champ sucks. (Especially when you will talk about them when they inevitably get buffed). Focus on the tier list(s) and throw in a couple more minutes in those if you really want to talk about the new champs more (or last option just might be doing just an year end one side there's at least 24 champs to review so more than a handful that should actually be discussed)

2024 champs have been absolutely awful

Sable is going to be the champ I get. She’ll be in 6 months: great. Don’t want to be pessimistic but I seem like a magnet. On the bright side, I don’t care about Titan anymore. Rather open a basic tbh. Higher percentage of champs I want. If they wanted to not sell early access, great job Kabam. I did buy some but blessedly no longer. They try so hard to be ‘greedy’ at times it backfires. If they just focused on making the most fun, best experience, they’d make the most money as well.

I would say stop releasing new champs that are rubbish and fix all the dropped input and AI issues.

Dust is top 3 easily

Dust should be top 3. People are sound asleep on how good she is. And in war she is likely #1. Insane damage , all passive abilities , totally ignores unstoppable , bleed poison and shock immune , -100 ability accuracy reduction on parry (no bubble shield , concussion, etc) , her power efficiency makes it easy to spam 2 sp2 and 1 sp1 without power back and with power back it’s endless if they are able to he stunned (insane in war) , can have debuffs or no debuffs if you want (no debuffs in sandstorm), and damage lots of damage , then she is a good defender. Unduped she’s better than all offensively , duped Searpent likely going to help you more overall maybe but there is no way she belongs 7th Can’t wait till more get her as a 7*. She is really good.
