I have a 2024 Chevy Trax. My phone, moto stylus, caused the display screen to freeze. After putting it in the shop for a few days..I drive off and it freezes again. Then we find out that it wasn't an update, but my phone wasn't compatible.
I’m having the same problem. Wireless Apple CarPlay is freezing and turning black the infotainment even the digital cluster and windows stopped working.
I'm sure your tutorial was great, but for an 80 year old with a smart phone , you lost me with the first , maybe second, click. Way too fast for old guys. But thanks anyway.
Unfortunately the Pixel 7 is not listed as a compatible phone with this system. You might have better luck plugging it in via usb. Thanks for watching!
Unfortunately Chevy does not list either of those phones as being compatible with the system. Hopefully a future infotainment update will fix that. Thanks for watching!
@@Briansgate as of now according to chevy’s information, yes. Try this: go on the internet and type in: which phones are compatible with the Chevy trax. I would very surprised if Chevy doesn’t have an update coming soon that will change this, but as of right now, your phone is not compatible according to Chevy. Thanks for watching!
@@TwoGuysandaRideWait, before the update I could connect a Samsung S22 and a Galaxy S10 (on the Chevy page it appears on my list) now no device recognizes even with a USB cable, will there be a new update for this tremendous problem??? thanks for the video, I've gone crazy looking for solutions
@@efraingomez1836thanks for the comment. You’re not alone with this issue. Here is what I’m hearing…have the dealer reflash the infotainment system, that should bring it back, but it might go out again. Some Chevy dealers are telling customers that a new head unit is needed, so I would suggest taking it to your dealer and see if they say the same thing. Maybe, like others, they’ll order you a new one. One would think Chevy could just push out another update to fix but no idea if they will, or if the unit is just faulty and needs to be replaced.
