10-2 most likely. Dabo is starting to make the right decisions with hires on offense like Matt Luke but these are moves he should've made after the 2021 season imo. It's gonna take another season or two to really get back where we really want to be
9-3, 10-2 is my guess, slowly turning a ship around that was off course. Cade takes a step with experience, better line, and receivers, but the program will take a couple more years. A back door into the playoff may help with speeding up that momentum but it will be tough
I think the WR room will be better this year, same with RB on Mafas back will be slightly better as well, I think the o-line should be better under Luke, so if Cade makes even a small step forward this team should be a good degree better, not saying natty, but they could easily be a 10 win team once gain and a top-10 team at seasons end.
I’m thinking 10-2 maybe 9-3. Losing to UGA, FSU and possibly VT. We have no excuse this year when we have a better WR core this year then in recent seasons and a better coach on the O-Line
VT? Has VT had a recruiting class that ranked in the TOP 50 in the past 6 or 7 years. I guess many of our fans still think of them the way they were 25 years ago. LOL.
@@CarolinaJackpot LOL. Good laugh from me on that. Probably a lot more Clemson fans who believe exactly what you are saying, but he ain't listening to them either. Still, I bet there are a lot of coaches hoping the way Dabo is doing works - or at least will help get this current situation fixed. Sucks to be a college football fan these days imo.
I think 9-3 is generous unless Cade comes out looking like a different player. If UGA drubs us it could be another long affair. I think another 8 win season is more realistic
What should help Cade is another year with Riley, better WR room, Mafa full time and the o-line should be at least a little better under Luke, so I would think Cade is in line for a decent jump forward as well, they need him to do so!
The only teams with equal talent to Clemson this year are UGAFSU. Clemson's record will be determined by how well the OL plays (and injuries, of course).
11-1 with a loss to Ga. Optimistic yes, but I have my reasons. We could very well drop a big game but I think we will be better at every position that was down last year. OL, QB, WR, and special teams. Second year OC and hopefully more plays. Florida state and Nc state were better last year than this year and we had dog fights. I’m sure they will still be dog fights but we come out on top
@@xeverlastingxchaosx9679 how many qbs do you know that are half the level TLaw was in college? That’s a crazy standard. Klubnik will be better this season. If we can just keep the turnovers to a minimum the team will be great
One of the highest-rated recruiting classes in Texas A&M history and College football history also lost to Appalachian State at home, ask Carolina, Tennessee, etc. Take them lightly at your own risk
Clemson’s program right now reminds me of the latter half of the Richt era at UGA. On a good day, they can give a UGA or FSU all they can handle. On an off day, they’ll lose to someone idiotic like Pitt or Wake Forest. Rinse and repeat until the donor base gets fed up with it and pulls back on the purse strings. Just think Dabo is regressing back to the mean, an 8-11 win coach like he was 10 years ago. Watson, Lawrence, and Venables made him look better than he actually is.
9-3 losses to UGA FSU and yes i do have the shamecocks upsetting Clemson. Just think South Carolina will be much better team towards the latter part of the season.
We missed a chip shot FG at the end of regulation against FSU, and DJU isn't near the QB they had in that game. And I agree that their culture isn't that great in spite of their coach. Louisville won't beat us. I fear NC State more than Louisville. 10-1 or 9-2 heading into the rivalry game. I never underestimate what could happen there (i.e. two years ago or Spurrior's run before our run).
9-3 or 10-2. This is just not a strong schedule at all. UGA has issues with Clemson for whatever reason. UGA vs Clemson 2021. UGA was a deeper team than Clemson that year. All the advantages over a Clemson team. UGA was deeper than they are now back in 21 yet, still could not score an offensive point against Clemson. This game I think is much closer than people thing. First game without being able to rely on TE's in general for receiving. UGA trailed in 7 first half games last season and was a pretty weak schedule. If Clemson's D has improved and UGA's 1st game for adjusting, this game could be very close. I think losing to FS is a possibility and a tough game against Louisville. Other than that, maybe the SC game if Sellars turns out to be good. Outside of that, there just isn't much here on the schedule.
Is this opposites day? UGA has a hard time with Clemson? They’re 43-18-4 against them all-time! They’ve beaten UGA 1 time in the last 30 years. You might possibly have the worst takes on UGA football ever. Are you trying to be this stupid?
@@danielmoore411 Are you on crack son? "TN has issues with UK?" lol TN is 40-3 vs UK since 1984. I don't care how bad TN is, they always beat UK. Not as stupid as literally looking at this stat and concluding TN has issues with UK lol

That's exactly what I don't like about no divisions in the ACC and SEC. A team like VT can play a schedule full of the weakest of the conference due to the luck of the draw and cake walk to the championship game.
@1:35 Let me guess, it was Boogie Bently wasn't it? 😅 I'm a Tennessee fan and I like his content, but man that gets annoying. If you want to advertise your own links (paypal, patreon, cash app etc) that is fine, but whining and crying about SuperChats is ultimate cringe
So u said dj had better numbers … he had 100n sumn more yards 1 less td sooo bout the same really… and he had less pass attempts but a worst pass percentage sooo I don’t know how somehow he’s better… I just don’t see him doing much against that defense… he doesn’t like big games remember when he played yall lol remember he played GA he’s bad in big games and this game is huge unless he took a huge jump last year Cade would beat dem oooyeah I almost forgot didn’t lose in ot last year vs them after a missed fg ? Sooo I guess dj is better den last years qb? Nooo
@@CarolinaJackpot No comparing pac vs acc defenses. especially pass defense... I'm not dogging your takes, I mean, I'm subscribed and always 'like' the videos I watch. dj is a head case - he should have been a tight end and not a qb, he might would have a shot at the nfl if he had gone that way. he was in the program 3 years, believe me, they know how to get him.
I see Clemson as another 8-4 team. Lost 12 guys to the portal and have 0 proven or legitimate talent. I don't get the hype. They were winning when the portal didn't exist. They're losing when it does. So can we apply logic to them? Stop hyping this team, stars on a recruiting rank don't always equal wins, and past success doesn't equal future success. This is, at best, an 8-4 team. I would be surprised if they go 7-5 and pressure builds. The problem I have with Clemson is whose their standouts on offense and defense. 1 player or 3 doesn't equate to success or wins. And they refuse to use the portal altogether. I can respect a man's principals, but I can't respect a man who doesn't use resources available and then complaining or excusing his potential along with his team. Congratulations, your ego will be your downfall and your pink slip. Clemson trades off impressive success, but still old success. I just don't see them winning at a high level with a young team, new coaches, and old school philosophy that has cost them a bunch of games because of pride. Miami and Florida State recruiting hasn't taken a hit on the high school ranks, and they're heavily involved in the transfer portal. Lol, that's why Florida State and Miami beat them. Clemson is on a downward spiral ala Dabo Swiney and his inability to coach good talent. His entire career hinges on 2 generational quarterbacks and 4 receivers. That's it everywhere else,we really see 0 dominance at the next level and have nothing but their brand to promote
Clemson had elite D-Lines , WR’s, and decent RB’s too. Their problem, like a lot of these Florida teams, is they don’t recruit well enough along the offensive line in comparison to a UGA or Alabama. Dabo was shuffling Center’s in there against UGA and Jordan Davis like we were Western Carolina or something. Forget about arrogance, that’s incompetence on a level that is borderline malpractice.
With this schedule being this weak, I don't think they get in the playoffs at 10-2 from the ACC. If Louisville is a loss, and they aren't a top 15 team and a loss to FSU, their done, even if they were to beat UGA. At 10-2 this will depend on who the other loss is from if UGA is one of those losses. If FSU isn't a top ten, than there is really no legit resume. You need a top ten or 15 win, convincing win I think if your 10-2.
