2024 Dark Horse Whipple Supercharger Install. First Start. First Drive . Gen 6. 

At first, I wasn't sure if the supercharger was attached to the front, rear, or side of the car but the sketch cleared up my confusion. Thank you for that.

As an owner of a 2016 Mustang GT, doing many mods, I enjoyed watching this video. Very informative and many questions answered. Yet, there are two things that really stood out. 1. Your son helping you at this age. He will grow up with a wealth of knowledge and he is cool too. I remember helping my dad in our home garage changing the head-gaskets on his '69 Pontiac Custom S through the night. I think I was 10 or so, but I carried that experience with me for decades! 2. The dry-erase board with the simple instruction to put the Whipple into the Stang. I laughed twice! Ve;ry cool video, Sir!

Hay bro. The Mods are awesome but you should put the cross bar back on by using spacers under it to clear you WSC and you can get more traction by lowering your back tire air pressure to 19 lbs. Be safe out there and keep up the great work and God Bless you guys and your families. 😊👍🙏🏼🙏🏼💪🇺🇸

I can’t believe the whipple charger is installed inside the engine bay (the front one), I’ve always carried my supercharger in the passenger seat, installing it inside the engine bay (the front one) made the engine super quick!

My 72yr old Dad just bought the only F-150 FP700 his dealership had. They called him & after 1 ride? He immediately traded his beautiful 2018 blacked out 5.0 mustang. He said, "Now I have a truck, That's a race car!" 😂 It is super fast & loud as hell with the Magna Flow Exhaust, lowered w/ 22" Nito's, rear diff locker, etc. He grabbed the ext warranty 8yr 100k miles.

If you are missing third gear don't be too hard on yourself all stock mustangs especially cobra models like the 04 Terminater I had must have a close ratio shifter installed .Trust me when I tell you it makes all the difference in the world . I went with a Steeda close ratio shifter and was very pleased but Hurst also makes an excellent one .

Great video. I ordered the stage 1 for my car as it has a 3-year warranty and can be up graded later. Now I just have to wait the 8 to 10 weeks till it arrives. Now if I can get 675hp to the tires, I'll be happy. Then when they crack the computer on the Dark Horse so we can start playing and making bigger power I will be ready.

1st off this is a Gen 7 Mustang. Everyone keeps forgetting and skipping over the 71 to 73 boat Mustangs as a Generation that was built. Did not I repeat it did not look like the 60s Mustangs. I let go of the 70 Mustang because it only had a different front clip. But 71 to 73 was 100% different looking Mustang period.

That strut tower does make a big difference in handling Whipple should make a custom tower brace to bolt on with the super charger..

Sweet ride!! So bad-ass. Question, I have a 2023 F150 Whipple charged that I contacted Whipple about with regards to spark plug recommendations. They advised me to use the Ford Performance Parts F-150 5.0L Coyote Cold Spark Plugs M-12405-50VDE, which I purchased today. Are you aware of these and which would you recommend? I obviously re-gapped the OE plugs, but at the 20K plug replacement, would you use the Ford Performance or the replacement Motorcraft plugs? They set me back $140.00 so I will try them but curious of your thoughts. I see Whipple just sent you regular Motorcraft plugs is the reason for my question. Thank you for your time and awesome videos. You really helped me with my Whipple install. Merry Christmas and enjoy that amazing Dark Horse.

11:30 That's my problem with Ford because they are not clear at all about their PP1's and PP2's.. I have seen GT's with leather Recaro's, Heated Cooled but they don't have the beefier struts, strut Bar, Bigger Rear sway bar, Staggered Wheels, or Most importantly the 373 Gears... I got lucky with mine.. I don't have leather or any of the Fancy inside the car stuff.. But I have the Beefier Rear sway Bar, The strut tower brace, Staggered wheels, and most important of it all the 373 Rear! Which makes a huge difference over the 355's when driving a manual!

Wow great job.. You deffinitly know what you are doing.. I need my 2017 Whippled but I only want a stage 1.5ish tune.. Even a very strong stage 1 tune would make me happy.. I am on a staggered set up right now.. 255 to 275's.. I'd like to go to 305's on the back but I guess I would have to change up the fronts too?? I'd like to have new wheels and go 305 all around but I don't know the fitment.. I would probably have to do 275's to 285's on the front and 305's on the back.. IDK..

wide wheels and tires then some suspension next. Sweet build man that gen 6 eats

Front strut brace isn't just there for show... whole purpose of that thing is to keep the suspension between the right and left rigid during corning so both wheels maintain contact on the ground... not a huge deal if your not going to take it around a track but it will have some minor impact to handling. Removal of stuff like that is why you see Mustang's in ditches or wrapped around tree's.

Also take off the air conditioner unit to that creates more horsepower to by removing a couple of items from the engine to and disconnect the vacuum lines from the turbos or superchargers it creates more boost, so their you go now you learn something new every Day. Just how much more power do we need in a completely STREETABLE powerplant. This motor has propelled an Australian Ford to a 7.96 quarter mile time pushing 190 MPH! Looks like the ball was dropped with this setup. Chance to utilize dual throttle bodies but instead uses one throttle body and 2 air filter boxes looking like some siamese twin crap. I'll wait for some turbo setups to come out. More specifically a twin setup. The twin throttle bodies are screaming for it.

Well If i remember correctly. The dual throttle bodies make the 20 hp increase.

I would like more power. But spinning every time I get on it seems exhausting. Maybe a turbo set up will help with that. Great Vid

Get some Drag Radials. You will love the acceleration, spinning the tires is fun for a minute but wet pavement will be like driving on snow. You will have NO TRACTION. My turbo'd 95 cobra would spin the tires at 70mph on dry pavement. Kinda dangerous and you could end up in a ditch or around a tree. That would suck !

Government: Man your car is loud, and it flows too much air. It makes 500hp? No you can't put headers on it. Also Government: You can make as much power as you want but how dare you put any type of headers or an air intake. Moral: Fuck the government.

You should only run the oil that the engine builder calls for. It’s not about what oil you like.

Much more usable on an auto, unless I missed it not much info on programming...did you have to use the tomahawk or s file with MPVI3?
