It's never about failure. It's about learning and getting better with the craft. Work getting in the way is how everything gets paid. I remember those days. Junk parts have and will always be here. Just do the best you can including robbing Peter to pay Paul with parts. Do what you have to do, just do it safely. Looking forward to all the videos out there about the DTDs.

@@DonCrookwashere I think I’ve got more work to do to the car. Especially if Sarah wants to keep it and race it. I’d upgrade the brakes and I’d do a basic roll cage. So it’s legal to go faster than 11.5. And I think that stuff would be good videos. So we will see. 🤷♂️

@@tomlohan4741 ya. The Chevelle is a lot of fun but I really wanted to get the little 65 done. It fits the theme of Duct Tape Drags. They told me the Chevelle was too pretty last year.
@@tackettshoh I think my son is still on the road. He met some in Irwindale but got separated. Hopefully he'll get there soon. He's traveled from NM to LA, LA to AZ, then AZ to NM. He was up night and day getting his 71 Blazer up and road worthy. But has had issues on the way. He wasn't done when he left but he's made it work so far.

@@davidgiessen8704 thank you. I’ll work on that. You have to remember. I’m a one man filming crew. The videos are several short clips that we stitch together over a couple days of work. Soooooo ya. It sometimes sounds like I just said that to you watching it. But to me that was a clip I filmed 24 hours ago. I’d love to help you on a 302. I need a lot more info. What is it going in? How much does it weigh? Gears? Tires size? What transmission? What heads and intake? What are your goals? Street cruiser or full race? What size headers and exhaust? Lots of info goes into me picking a cam and compression.
