Great video man! Ive heard so much about the 500/501 and its love or hate and most say you can never put it on a track especially in stock form. Guess theyre wrong..haha. Ive been on a 450sxf for a while and want something more of a do it all and the 500/501 might be the ticket.
The people that say you can’t track the bike don’t know how to ride or they are spoiled. Could it be better? Absolutely but it can easily be slightly modified to be a do it all machine!
@@ogregang3203 I bought the bike early before any incentives and when they were high demand and paid 14,500. My local dealer has them for a lot less right now! Best time to purchase is summer when nobody wants to ride.
Yes, the DRZ would be fine but I feel like these higher quality bikes offer a much more enjoyable experience and will lead to you wanting to ride more and overall have more fun! At your size, I am not much smaller, just make sure you have the suspension set up or at minimum just adjusted so you can really enjoy the handling the way that it was intended to be!

Danny, my boy…. I see you, don’t necessarily feel you… but it’ll be okay. I think this is just how California riders/drivers are. This Ray guy is obviously a prick but I think this is just the way things are in that state so let’s just hit the peace pipe and take a step back and love each other. Peace and love to all man.
