I had a Jeep and now a Bronco. The Jeep is made with very cheap parts, I replaced the whole drive terrain, literally everything to make it reliable. So far I’m liking the Bronco better.
Personally love both. I’ve had a JL and currently own a Bronco Raptor. My biggest complaint being 6’4” is that my head would hit the sound bar in the JL if I went over even the smallest bump. The Bronco is rummier and has much more headroom. If I was doing serious rock crawling again I’d probably strip down a JL and be happy, however for daily driving and trail runs I’m happy as can be with my Bronco.
Ben great comparison! Both are very good vehicles. However, both are tremendously over priced. The Wrangler in particular has seen its average MSRP grow from $48k to over $70k in four years which is unheard of.
@@benjaminbrown7127 Your comment is uneducated and laughable. I have purchased 2 brand new vehicles in the past 5 months paying cash for both - so I can afford it and it is Fords problem. Refused to even look at a Ford because of their recall record over the past 3+ years. I refuse to pay top dollar for crap.
Does the weight of the hybrid battery reduce available payload of the Jeep? If you lifted the Jeep, added a winch and rooftop tent, would it exceed GVRW?
No response on weight comparison I see, And battery Tech is so far behind, I do have 26 solar panels on my own roof in AZ but no battery backup, Lithium Ion.. not much recycling possible from what I know... Lead acid can be recycled... Lithium batteries waste.... almost like Nuclear waste where is it gonna go?? LANDFILLS... wonder how that is saving the environment?? Most people only see the next red-light... never look forward enough to see what could happen when the red light is RUN (CRASH)... if you know what I mean, Plus CHYNNA owns most of the battery tech now... so here we go financing the ccp to take over ...... you fill in the blank many answers work just fine. TIMES are reaching a boiling point, in manufacturing( most done in chynna ), Political issues too HOT, and countries wanting to start WARS that it seems we end up funding both sides of. The Military industrial complex pushing it all!! For the mighty Dollar we all provide them!! Well those with jobs that pay the EXTORTION better known as Federal income TAX, and I do not work for the Feds, (weird). I support AMERICAN MADE products... getting much harder to find anything made in the USA!! Including most parts inside all vehicles.
You can't get a manual with either of these powertrains. You have to drop to the 2.3L L4 in the Bronco and the 3.6L V6 with the Wrangler. The Wrangler 4xe drives a lot better than the V6 4 door Wrangler and is pretty damn quick.
