Come on Jorge, $100,000 for a truck is just stupid at this point… my 2017 cost me $72,000 which was the most I’ve ever paid for a truck and apparently ever will.

No kidding man, these things are getting very expensive but also we are getting so much more technology, features and quailty we didn't have some years ago. And its across all manufacturers. I feel you! It's like the trucks heard about inflation and decided to join the party. 🎉💸 Guess we're all just passengers on the "Price Hike Express" these days. 🚚✨ But hey, at least our trucks are getting a taste of the high life, right? Maybe they'll start demanding caviar holders next!🤣

The technology being offered in these trucks ( with the exception of maybe a few options) are being offered in every other vehicle ford makes. It doesn’t justify the 30 to 40 thousand dollar price hike that these trucks have seen over the last few years.

The issue is that dealers got rich during Covid and auto makers raised prices due to greed. Now, these dealers have tons of floor planned units that they can't sell. No matter the brand, these trucks are not worth what they are charging. Tech and features don't matter to most people, they still look at price first. Plus, Ford dependability has been very bad for the past 3 years. Until the auto makers realize that people are not going to over-pay for a truck that is not worth the money, they will sit. Eventually, they will have to sell the trucks.

Keep in mind that prices went up soley becuase of part shortages. Deman is still very high for these trucks and hate to sell them at $100k but people still buy them. Tbh, i don't see the value in the limited anymore. I have a fully loaded F-250 platinum and it comes with all the same packages. I also preferred the seats of the platinum over the limited

What is the top part of the front seats that fold down for?

The top part of the seat that moves is part of the Max Recline seat options. This option allows your seat to flaten out for a 180 degree position to take a nap. That top part of the seat adjust for shoulder and upper back support

The top of my seats (where your shoulders are) can be moved forward by hand but doesn’t latch or anything….that’s why I was wondering what that part was for. Was wondering if something wasn’t right when they built mine.

sorry to hear that. I bet you that your dealership doesn't have the allocation to get it for you. Really don't like the way the side and rear steps look. They break up the body and bumper lines in a bad way. They should have designed these steps to close up like the gas cap when not in use.
