$70K for any truck is insane in my opinion. Never pay markups. For the money, I would opt for a Colorado Trail Boss.

A 4 cylinder with a plastic interior? No way. Colorado looks the best, but I was extremely disappointed in engine and plastic pieces all over interior. Felt extremely cheap. I wish it felt as good as it looks. That’s why it’s at a lower price.

Great truck to get in a few months maybe. Everyone just say NO to the markups! Same in DFW. Hard to find a raptor without a market adjustment.

$70k?! LMAO! 6-8 years ago, this would have been a $46-48k truck - still expensive for what it is. Considering this isn’t even a full size truck, I wouldn’t pay more than $40k for it. Anyone who buys one for retail is getting ripped off. Anyone who buys one with a markup is brain dead 🧠 💀

I like it! I think these are a massive improvement over the previous ones, especially the interior! I don’t like the lack of cab & bed length options though, I think these only come in a crew cab with a puny 5 foot bed. I also wish there was a column shift & center console delete option, I don’t like the junky Ecoboost engines either. Naturally aspirated all day.

From an engineering standpoint, the 3.0 turbo is a great choice for the weight of this vehicle. The load one the power train will be minimal, you want that for longevity. When you want to get on it, it’s there. Yes a 5.0 would have been better but the structure of the chassis doesn’t accommodate the weight & size. It would be too expensive to retool things to make it work. We ran into this with Nissan. They attempted to put a V8 into the Xterra and it could pass safety specs.

Ohio has a nice share of no mark up dealers. When we bought a Toyota, in the middle of the shortage, a guy flew in from Montana to pick up a $ 50,000 Sienna. I think the dealer should have allocated those in demand vehicles to locals, but they didn’t.

The regular one is to much. They rented me one. 43k for a sport. It had no room. No room in the bed. Didn't even have power seats. No way would I pay that for that thing

Bedliner is a $495 option. If you wait long enough when there are a bunch of these on the lots you can probably negotiate that.

@@tboneforreal Good point. I was surprised to see that it even had rear wheel liners. Ford doesn't put that on a lot of the F-150's anymore. Imagine getting an "off road package" with no liners? What a joke!

You can order them MSRP from dealers all over the place so you just have to wait for them to build it about 6 to 8 months

I would never get a raptor for the same reason I don't get 600-1000cc sportiness. you can't use the power unless for specific areas. they are impractical

Ive already talked to my dealership. I'm ordering mine in early 2025 and I'm paying no more than MSRP + destination. I've ordered before from this dealership, multiple times actually.

I have an AT4, and I agree lol. The Ford just looks timid and outdated with the round wheel wells and subtle front end. If you take the “Raptor” stickers off, it just looks like any other Ranger. The previous body style looked newer than this one.

I never said anything about the performance. The Raptor is a great performer, but the aesthetics are completely bland. And to your point, the 3.0L is only available on the Raptor($57k). My AT4 was $46k(it’s actually a company truck, so I didn’t pay anything for it), and while it surely is not as powerful as the Raptor, it is anything but slow.

Ordered my ranger raptor back in October 2023. It came in 2 weeks ago and I got it for $1,000 under msrp. The dealership was trying hard to get me to walk away because they wanted that 10k markup.. Had to get financed on my own because dealership wasn’t making the numbers work for me.

@@BUITACTILEmy guess is call around. I went through this specific dealership because they let me build it and said they wouldn’t sell me it for more than msrp. I waited 8 months for ford to build it but when it came in the dealer said they had a $1000 rebate on the rangers. If I didn’t buy the one I ordered they would’ve marked it up 10-20k as a dealer stock car because they just aren’t around enough yet. I’m only the 2nd person to buy a ranger raptor through this dealership so far and when I ordered it I was #3 on their order list. Also bought the truck on the last day of the month and quarter. Sometimes they get a little more motivated when they need sales. Good luck.

I own the exact color 24 Ranger Raptor. I absolutely love it. Ford literally knocked it out of the park with this truck. I have owned the Raptor F150 35,37 & the 23 R but I’m here to tell you, this truck is so fun to drive. My Ranger Raptor is going to Hennessy Performance in Houston for the 550 HP upgrade as soon as the software is completed. I also own a 24 Ford f450 limited & I feel like I’m driving a buck board after driving my Raptor.

used to be a v8 big truck dude. Until driving a mid sized truck and never went back. Better maneuverability, speed, acceleration, handling, mpg. No more huge blind spots or hitting the curb in tight spaces. Big trucks are a thing of the past tbh. My next truck is either a ridgeline or canyon.

Toyota Taco is still way worse in every way. Would definitely take this over an F150 Raptor as well which can't seem to get out of its own way despite no competitor anymore with Dodge bowing out. Definitely selling the badging big time tho i agree ... and yes will still have buyers big time tho this definitely isn't true of the Toyota Tacoma. Verdict: more room for Rivian to stick it to everyone en route.

As an ex ford salesman. Ranger and the bronco are really cheaply made. Two cars that they redesigned with no legroom in the back.the maverick has more leg room…. Freakin joke
