2024 Geely Zeekr 7X in-depth Walkaround
The Zeekr 7X is an impressively sized SUV, with dimensions of 4825 mm in length, 1930 mm in width, and 1666 mm in height, supported by a generous wheelbase of 2925 mm. The standard height lowers slightly to 1656 mm when equipped with the optional air suspension. The 7X surpasses the Tesla Model Y in length by 75 mm and features wider front and rear tracks, measuring 1649 mm and 1654 mm, respectively. Thanks to its compact bumpers, the front and rear overhangs measure 863 mm and 1037 mm, slightly longer than Tesla's counterpart. The vehicle also offers approach and departure angles of 19 degrees, enhancing its overall capability.
For customization, the Zeekr 7X offers eight rim options and can be fitted with 255/50 R19 or 265/45 R20 wheels. Among its notable features is the optional LiDAR sensor, which can be mounted on the roof, complementing the available air suspension system. The curb weight of the 7X ranges between 2298 and 2475 kg, depending on the configuration, while the gross weight reaches up to 2910 kg. These weight variations are largely dependent on the chosen powertrain, showcasing the versatility of this vehicle.
Built on the SEA platform, the Zeekr 7X shares its powertrain technology with the Zeekr 007 sedan, offering three power options. The base version comes with a rear-wheel drive (RWD) motor producing 310 kW (416 hp) and a 75 kWh LFP battery supplied by Geely subsidiary VREMT. A second option provides the same 310 kW power output but with a larger 100 kWh NMC battery from CATL-Geely. For those seeking more power, the top-tier version delivers an impressive 475 kW (637 hp) from a 100 kWh NMC battery, also sourced from the CATL-Geely partnership.
