The pressure mounted as General Tire Team Series anglers began the semifinals of the Bass Pro Shops Championship Presented by B&W Trailer Hitches. Team Crockett Creek rose to the occasion. Jonathon VanDam, James Elam and Matt Lee boated 28 bass weighing 37 pounds, 12 ounces to earn a spot at the grand finale.
The race isn’t over for Team Knighten Industries (Matt Becker, Wesley Strader and Scott Suggs), as their second-place total of 14 bass weighing 26-12 grants them a second chance in the Wild Card round. Meanwhile, team Builders FirstSource (Brent Chapman, Dave Lefebre and Alton Jones) put up a good fight but narrowly missed the cut with 13 bass for 19-12.
