2024 Genesis GV70 Electrified: Tesla Is In Trouble!

As of April 2024,Genesis has a 13 month lease this month for the ELECTRIFIED models. Per Genesis offers website, Advanced trim of the gv70 Ev is 499/ month, 3999 down for 10k miles. 😮 I got 9500 cash back ("EV Lease Bonus") for the 13 months gv70 lease, now there is a 17500 cash back for the 36 month gv70 lease, cutting down another 100 LESS monthly compared to what I got. The Gv60 advanced is 469, gv60 Rwd is 379 (same 3999 down) but only max 11000 EV Lease Bonus from Genesis. .....OR ... .... Wait 1 year and you can get 10 % increase in battery capacity and EV range without any increase in weight in the gv60, gv70 or IONIQ5.

Genesis makes nice, comfortable vehicles. The GV 70 is a good one that will get the attention of people looking for an electric vehicle for in-town use. As others mention, range is an issue for road trips. And nobody is currently competitive with Tesla in the software department. Genesis continues to default to their navigation system instead of Google Maps. They don’t have any of the configurable features that Tesla offers. And Tesla’s autopilot can’t be matched, even without the Full Self Driving feature. None of these features may matter to people who want a familiar driving experience, so I’m sure Genesis will do just fine. But I’m not sure Tesla is in trouble as a result of the GV70.

0-60mph in 3.6. and double that speed is a breeze, quarter mile in just over 12sec.

Double that range and I’d consider it.

I so love this car but the mileage range of this car is too low!

Tesla in trouble? Electric cars have no supporting infrastructure but if you must have one... you dont want to buy one with less range and no where to charge it. At least Tesla has the superchargers. This is a Hyundai...I do not think the quality will hold up (. I know Tesla sucks there too)
