Apples-to-apples, the Colorado is actually priced extremely competitively compared to the competition. The GMC just gets you more premium features. My boss and I have a couple AT4 premiums on order. We usually add a mild lift and 1-2” larger tires to our trucks. I might document this truck for RU-vid. We do a lot of miles. I do 45-50k per year, my boss about 60k. I’ve been in a Silverado for a long time, but he’s had a couple Canyons (‘15 and ‘19) that have really impressed us. The first went 375k, second is at 300k now. Looking forward to the new rigs! Hands down the best looking midsize on the market, and I think these trucks blow the others out of the water.
I am in the market for a mid-size pickup and this is high on my list but i got to drive em all before i decide. the good ol fuel injected V6 in the Frontier is a big selling point for me as im not a fan of turbo charged 4 bangers
I would get one if wasn't for that white interior. White for a off road truck?, i know of a few that like it, but honestly i can't see them driving it off road. The 2024 i hoped they would of had a option for the interior, sadly not.
The AT4X with the off-road badging is $62K. The Denali I looked at was $58K. No electric rear slider or retractable running boards. These automakers today skimp and cut corners anyway they can to make big profits. In ten years or less, I bet half of these vehicles are sitting in junkyards. Or Carpart locations!
Auto manufacturers have priced their vehicles out of price for the average citizen. They know it doesn’t matter if they lose too much money, they know they’ll get that govt bailout money. After all, one hand washes the other. Govt wants EVs, manufacturers push EVs. Manufacturers lose money govt bails out manufacturers with loads of free money. $50k for a midsize truck, NOT just GM but ALL manufacturers is insane! Its as if its that word “Collusion”
You are missing everything. Auto manufacturers are only doing what they have to. The price of everything is insane. It affects the overall cost of everything. You can’t tell me that the price of vehicles won’t be expensive when everything else in the world right now is expensive. With that being said, it’s also the nicest truck/fanciest canyon they have put out in years. What you expect!?
