What do you think of the all new 2024 GMC EV Hummer? Is this the Best off road SUV in its class?

I think that space-themed sound that you mentioned is annoying lol. I have this exact same Hummer (minus the off-road package) and you can hear that sound on the inside too, with the windows closed. It's faint but gets on my nerves after a while. I couldn't find out how to turn it off.

I like the looks of it but It is absolutely a mall crawler, there is literally no clearance and will be very little articulation w the air suspension and short arm control arms.Even though your camera angle never gets low enough to see how little clearance there actually is underneath the vehicle, I can still see how low the IFS control arms are among other parts hanging down 😂 You’re not running even a mediocre off road trail w this, similar to any late model Land Rover. They are the epitome of a mall crawler.

@@CTECH-REVIEW sorry for the negativity I just can’t believe there are no alternatives other than a Wrangler these days for decent off-roading. It’s the last claimed off road vehicle w front/rear live axles, good approach angles and clearance. I would think that Wrangler sales would indicate a market worthy of competition. Bronco treads the line but would require lots of expensive mods for it to perform like a Jeep.

Wrangler has nowhere near the clearance of the Hummer. 16" vs 10.8" at best. The videos out there all agree that the SUV is actually very very good offroad. There is no comparison to a Wrangler offroad because size and weight. I have had several wranglers over the years, an H2 for 21 years and I have driven the Hummer EV SUV but not off road yet. It really is something else. Mall Crawler is the street version with the 22" wheels - and honestly that is the version I would get :)
