Congrats Robert. I’m impressed by how quickly you made that happen. I’m jealous and I hope to join the ranks of the CVO Road Glide Owners. You christened it right. 🤙🏼
Congratulations!!! Name suggestion. Etta after Etta James. In her lifetime, James pioneered the development of music as she bridged the gaps between genres as diverse as jazz, R&B, soul, rock 'n roll, gospel and blues, as made clear by her more than thirty awards from organizations like the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Rhythm and Blues Foundation and the Rockabilly Hall of Fame.
Now that’s what I’m talking about!!! So many horrible people get rewarded in today’s society. Finally!!! Finally a good person who has given so much to so many people is being rewarded!!! God bless you Robert Simmons!!!! I’m overjoyed that you bought this bike… god bless you and Anita!!!
Road Glide standard with the 117 engine, the better choice... I will post my opinion also here as i done to several youtubers.. Best invest is the 117 engine Road Glide...Let me explain: You can upgrade it with better parts than CVO ST.. Ohlins suspension better from OEM Showa ( is not race special Showa edition - like Ohlins,Wilbers or similar other brand). Engine upgrades - stages from several companies much better from OEM Screaming Eagle...lots of us know SE isn't offer true performance parts. Audio system from Volunteers Audio, huge improvement from any Rokford stages... Exhausts from other companies for better sound, torque & horsepower or beautiness... Only CVO ST, brakes & the inverted fork (still needs upgrade with ohlins springs ) are good... =================================== Why limit your choices to 1 expensive model with mediocre components? ==================================== And what is the gain? 15 - 20 horses? These numbers are to the crank...at the back wheel are around true 115.. 😂😂😂...121 High Output myas... Marketing tricks, don't be fooled....be smart & choose the right one.. Unless you're rich & get the CVO ST...throw exhaust, suspension, SE parts of engine & free the 121 engine potential power. Although, the difference of money between CVO ST & Road Glide can be invested for parts. Result would be far better from any CVO... Even if the cost exceeds the amount of initial ST price, you will have a unique bike with tons of hp, torgue & handling.. CVO ST is just a Road Glide with Screaming Eagle parts.. Showa is a OEM plain suspension.. For my Road Glide i would not spent money to SE.... There are better companies specialized for any need & wish.
Been riding HD for 24years. It’s astonishing how great the RGCVO ST is from the factory. Down to details like the throttle response which are so critical to good control.
I like the bike in black but if only white was left over I'd buy it . This is a collector and rare/ special factory build if you ask me. Imagine if there is a fifty year CVO anniversary edition, it probably won't be what our generation would like .
The retirement pension plans from the city and state of New York for public servants is exceptional in the amounts they pay out (citizens also pay UNGODLY tax amounts to support it). Ain't worth it for me but he survived it and taking full advantage of it. Don't hate the player, hate the game. There are also rumors of the NY politicians wanting to dip into it to support the influx of illegals. Wouldn't surprised me a bit if they do.
Man, that bike is awesome according to all the specs, according to everything I’ve seen in person and I hope to ride one real soon (probably at Daytona Bike Week) so that I can tell people how great it rides. I do believe you might be right.
Fuck Yeah!!! I got mine last Saturday. I’m in Massachusetts. Gonna be in Daytona for bike week. Congratulations my man! Phenomenal Decision! Love the videos. God bless.
Congrats !!! Big Rob !! Yeah man that’s the best looking well best everything Harley Davidson has built !!! She looks good. Maybe name her Savannah !!!
For the average weekend rider, I'd say it's too much bike (just my opinion). For someone with your riding experience and love of motorcycles, it suits you perfectly 😊
Yes sir Matt Laidlaw lol hit the nail right on the head. I am jealous. Also great choice one day maybe I can grow up to be just like you keep up the good work, sir.
Robert, your NEW H-D makes those "other" H-D's on the property look insignificant & "old". The bike you chose is so FRESH! Congrats 🥳 Big Bro. Outstanding move. Also, that was a "cool" christening👌🏾! But I can't wait to see the "Gold Cup" 🏆christening vid, where you "pre-load" her GOOD, & pop the 100yrd wheelie! 😜. Enjoy that gorgeous machine man. -🍀
Congratulations Brother. Enjoying the pension! How about "Stella" because of the ST? I feel all CVOs are beautiful. White brings out the lines and details. Don, Ret NYPD Sgt.
Great looking bike. Too bad the numbers didn't work out for me when I was trying to get into a 23 Road Glide CVO or the 24 Road Glide. I was disappointed when I left the dealership.
Great video!! I’m calling Lonnie tomorrow!! I want a CVO! I have a 2020 Strewt glide, 2016 break out, 2023 low rider St, and Indian scout I’m trailering from Florida to get a CVO. Think I’m doing the street glide CVO but love your bike!!
Excellent Video!!! Do you have any opinions on if a Street Glide or Road Glide are safer? Any better visibility on one vs the other? What about wind protection? I am coming off of a BMW 1250 GSA and Triumph 900 Adventure Bikes. Is the RDRS highly effective on the Harleys? They were very good on the BMW and Triumph? Any challenges I might have moving from and adventure bike to a Harley? Thanks!
Robert, congratulations brother! I knew that bike was in your future just based on the video you did prior to heading out to Vegas. Your tell was as easy as reading a 5-year old kid and it was funny to see. Good luck with the new addition to the stable. Stay safe and thank you for sharing Lt. 😉 🫡🤜🏼
I must be the oddball... I wanted, and bought, the black one. And sadly, it's back at the dealership with 7 miles experiencing a "crank, but no start" issue that was already addressed by a service bulletin that required an update to the ECM. Guess what... the update didn't fix the issue. I wish you all the best with yours.
I remember the days when the Pharaoh would say “I’ll never buy a Harley”, and now look at you… poster child for HDA ( Harley Davidsons Anonymous). Lmao
Congratulations on the purchase of an outstanding motorcycle from the best motorcycle company, Harley Davidson. The amount of innovation we are seeing from Harley Davidson is unprecedented. They have been working really hard and are doing things the right way. You will have many years of riding enjoyment with this bike. It has everything you want, styling, performance, and useful technology. I have a feeling they are going to sell a lot of these motorcycles. Be safe and have fun.
I'm so happy for you. This Saturday I went to the NYC Harley Davidson and sat on the bike. This is the BEST bike Harley has ever made in my opinion. Enjoy 🎉🙏✅️
Congratulations I knew it was going home to you !!! How can anyone resist it’s not only a Harley …. It’s a piece of Art !! Can you give an aprox , out the door price …
So long Misty, you were a great bike but someone else will enjoy a well taken care of bike that has many upgrades. Awaiting the upcoming video/s to follow.
Congratulations Big Rob another great video. You doing big things out here and sharing great information with us all. Keep doing your thing and be safe doing it.
You left them with a badge! I love it. I am going to tell my son (a Ranger in the Army down there at Hunter) to look for these “Robert Rings” when he stops in there! 😅
Congratulations on the acquisition of you new 'Toy' , after your last video on the bike it's no surprise you bought one, I guessed you would, the CVO ST does look good in white, so great choice.
Lt, can’t watch your videos no more you made me buy one😂 beautiful bike now I have two cvos! Thanks to you! lol Love the content keep up the great work! Thank you! Congratulations on your new ride!!
I watched this video over and over, then went to Bluegrass Harley Davidson and bought the exact Motorcycle. It will be delivered to me this coming Friday. I just had to pull the trigger. Thanks for the video. I haven't even seen the bike, but it has to be awesome after seeing your review!! Can't wait for delivery of my 2024 Road Glide CVO ST.
That’s awesome! Nice ride! Congrats! Growing up, I remember asking my dad for something and knowing I wasn’t gonna get it based on this response. He’d say, sure Son, we’ll get you one in EVERY color. Well, he didn’t have to say more. I knew I was out of luck. I’d tuck my tail and go pout somewhere. NOW, I use the same phrase with my four kids. lol 😅
