This is the 1st Haval that has completely impressed me. The only thing missing is the electric tailgate. I am so torn between this Jolion and the cherry tiggo 8 .
But it's not good for employment. Mercedes is retrrenching cos everyone is suddenly buying these Chinese imported cars. Sales have dropped at Mercendes and this means, jobs must be cut. We need to protest SA economy against these Chinese imports.

But a general gripe I have with Car reviewers especially in SA, is that most of the time you focus on the 'top of the range' and I just wish you can show us the things that come standard at the bottom of the range so we can assess. Because most people can't afford the Ultra Luxury, so what does the cheapest one look like? But great video. WELL DONE!

The Jolion styling is inspired by those M Performance kits for BMW but standard. This is for the average man who wants that but the budget couldnt stretch that far

Wow I was expecting the pricing to be around +600k. This is great. 😂 the option would be to get a Haval with a lot of standard features or a latest Polo with not so standard features but around the same price point? I think I know what I’d pick.
The cost of production is 4 times low than Europe or American. Also now they're trying to win the market these cars will soon cost closer to the Americans

Jolion 1.5T City - R345 950 - CHEAPER than the previous model! Everything I need (cruise control, 4 airbags, keyless entry, and, best of all, FABRIC seats). The fake (plastic) leather reminds me of the fake plastic seats in cars back in the 1970s.
The S Ultra Lux is R80k more expensive than a Chery Tiggo 4 Pro top spec model. So what does the Jolion compete with then? Because I think it's too expensive. It's even more than a T Cross and Corolla Cross.

How i wish they could also adopt the AWD drivetrain (not unless i missed that part), i personally feel that an SUV without AWD is like a soldier going to war unarmed, and for that, i'd choose the new Tiggo 8 pro max over this Haval. This new shape looks cool, and i get your complain about the many badges.....lol kare ena le double barrel surname. The pricing; has it gone cheaper than the predecessor or am i misunderstanding something? It seems like the reduced price is the answer why features like usb-c ports are missing, i wonder what else has been taken away.
The previous generation looks way much better than the new one, it looked so aggressive and different.. and the rear design on this one is disappointing in my opinion
They needed to change the USB ports to type-c. Definitely removing the GWM on the back. If you are going to put the word 'Pro' on something, it should have a significant power upgrade over the non-Pro versions. Don't see that as the case. I own a 2023 Jolion Luxury and don't see a reason to get the Pro.
