It's a shame all of the big brands who make scooters stopped offering large displacement units. The only one I see who still offers anything larger than a 300 is Kymco with the AK 550i. Sadly Kymco isn't as commonly seen in places like Yamaha or Honda.
@@josephgeorgeejr7039 Ya. It seems like other countries have more scooter options for new units. We used to have the Burghman 650 but Suzuki stopped making it.
How does the handling compare to the new ADV? Also which feels more comfortable over 50mph? I'm trying to decide between the PCX and ADV, but a lot of the roads I need to go on are 55mph speed limit.
Great video. Between the Honda PCX, Honda ADV or the Yamaha XMax… which one would you recommend? Thanks. I would mostly be doing city riding. I live in Arlington VA
When I saw the Xmax in store I decided it was too big for squeezing thru city traffic. Got a adv160 and love it. Ride it around bk, Manhattan and westchester. No issues.
Gets up to 65 mph easily. I’ve got it to 70 on a long stretch on sprain brook parkway but it felt a bit crazy tbh. Being able to tilt the windshield up makes a big difference too so if you’re wanting to ride at higher speeds that’s one thing the adv has over the pcx.
I've heard sources on streets saying Honda will discontinue the pcx in u.s. markets and replace it with some other scooter, let's all hope its the adv 350! But i really got my heart set on xmax 300 so it would not matter much if adv 350 came to the u.s, not for me anyhow
I wish the PCX was available in more colors. For the last two years it’s only been available in this ugly metallic brown 💩 color. 😂 Wish they had it in white still like 2022. That in my opinion is the best PCX color.
@@scottdavis9318 Cool. As long as they don’t charge new 2024 prices. It should at most cost what a new one went for in 2022… and at least waive some of the fees! I’m hearing strong rumors that the PCX will be discontinued in the US next year. It’s crazy that one of the best selling scooters worldwide just doesn’t sell here. But then the US is just not a scooter friendly culture. I wish it was.
@@Regantdarcy The owner of the Honda dealer said sales were down for the Silverwing and Forza and they are discontinued but he thinks the pcx has good sales. I hope more people start appreciating them for their practicality and relaxing easy drivability. We just have to hope for the best I guess. Have a good one.
