Our most recent Entertainment Report features the first 2 shows in this year's Illinois Shakespeare Festival which are currently playing at Ewing Theatre (located at 48 Sunset Rd. in Bloomington). Twelfth Night and Sense & Sensibility run July 6 through July 30 in repertory Wednesdays through Sundays beginning at 7:30 pm. In the classic Twelfth Night, Shakespeare creates a kaleidoscope of love with wit, disguises, hijinks, and music in one of his most sophisticated and hilarious comedies. And this production of Sense and Sensibility is a world premiere version of the beloved novel follows the Dashwood sisters as they navigate the rules of 19th century courtship while undergoing an abrupt shift in circumstances that alters their fortunes, their prospects, and their destinies.
