Hopefully this will help someone I filed on February 6th && on March 18th they mailed me my 60 day review letter that they were holding it because of 152 notice and finally finally after 3 months I got my refund on 10th of May My refund tracking status was never approved only accepted it never changed and the whole time I just got my money and that's that !!!!!!!
I'm still waiting, NO TRANSCRIPT UPDATE, NO WMR UPDATE, so I got tired of this B.S. I once again had to get Congressional help. This will be the 2nd time within 4 years I had to get help. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE THE IRS NEEDS TO BE AUDITED THEMSELVES. WHAT HAPPEN TO THE $80 BILLION THEY GOT, IT'S CLEAR THEY NEVER HIRED ANYBODY. THEY JUST KEPT THE MONEY. NO ACCOUNTABLE ON THEIR PART.
Same boat, literally the same but I disagree that they didn't hire more agents, they hired 87,000 new IRS agents (there is only about 1000 billionaires so what they got hired for is the crushed middle class and the working poor. It's despicable and all of the alphabet agencies need dismantled.
Complete bs I had to reach out to my state senator for help .. the government can give all these other countries money but can't give it's ppl the money they are owed.. I got my cp05 letter then 2 weeks later I got another one.. and it said I dont have to do anything also I already did the ID me bs back in March still nothing no letter no update 🤬

Today, a representative from my Representative’s office questioned the legitimacy of my delayed tax refund. I advised them that my Senator’s office began working on the case back in November and it still isn’t resolved. The IRS also disagrees and says the refund is delayed per my transcripts.
I’m just give up they took our money and that’s just it they took our money and giving it to everyone else but the people who worked for it. And there not going to do anything but finesse us fucc em.
I mean they can pretty much do what they want cause at the end of the day your still going to abide by there rules ….work a job,pay rent etc so they don’t care as long as you play their game
Call the IRS early this morning because May 11, 2024 is when my 60 day review is up only for this broad to tell me that it’s supposed to be 120 days not 60, but yet there’s nothing they needed from me, I just so happen to be part of the random reviews, pissed 😡 me off and I mentioned to her I checked my transcript before calling you guys and there’s nothing that says 120 days so you went ahead to add more days. I hung up on her. I filled out my form from my congresswoman office that was sent to me Friday and hopefully 🤞 I get some answers and better results, like give me my money 💴…
Same here. I already contacted my local government representative and they opened a case in my behalf. They also warned that it could take months. Ugh!
I did that too. They only send it to the taxpayers advocate team which is another IRS branch that will take 3 weeks to respond. They are all in on it. How useless can a can those politicians be in this matter. I thought they are supposed to get this issue expedited😤
My tax transcript says I haven't even filed my taxes. This is really crazy because it was excerpted February 10th. When I called they said it was in error department and made up a ticket and said if I don't receive it bye may the 24th to call them back
I filed on feb 6 return was accepted but no movement since . got cp05 on march 18 said they need 60 days. 30 days later got a 2645c letter saying they need 60 more days but need nothing from me. What is going on . still nothing as of May 14th.
Ok verified in person 4/19 I’m an 05 weekly and as of Saturday I have NOTHING on my iRS account! Was saying received and still not processed, completely gone! Transcript now saying 570! Tax advocate jerks have been NO help sent second complaint this morning and also emailed state congressman. I qualify for two of the guidelines for help I’m losing my S**T!
I contacted my tax preparer , and they called the IRS, the IRS said they could not see anything that would cause it to be held and nothing else is needed. My original notice of 60 days has expired. And was told they are going to send another notice for another 60 day hold. I have yet to see that second notice, online or in mail.. meanwhile we have received our state return months ago no issues. So go figure...
After 11 weeks my return finally processed. WMR and transcript updated. No letters or codes. I called the IRS and they said a human processes all e-filed returns, she said they actually have to print and rescan them which made no sense. Sometimes the human messes up and it gets kicked out of the normal process and takes 10-11 weeks to correct. So if you've been waiting with zero updates, its actually a good thing meaning it simply has not processed yet, typical according to IRS is 11 weeks.
I did everything this person & other people have said. I went to the SSA and they told me that the IRS sends them your earnings; not them sending the IRS your earning. I also cant make a correction on the SSA website / person until 2025. I then contacted my congressman last week; no answer so i called this morning. He stated that all they’re doing is sending our forms over to TAS & they have a 30 day response window. I contacted IRS who said wait 120 days & that they didn’t need anything from me i was randomly selected for my taxes to be reviewed. I then contacted TAS and they told me to wait until the end of july for their service. People are just recycling information from each other & making video. The cycle code 05 updates on Thursdays. 20241005 is my cycle code and it broken down by year 2024 tax year, 10 week from beginning of the year 05 is the day of the week (M-F). Fri=01 Mon=02 Tues=03 Wed=04 Thurs=05. Do what you want with this information but waiting seems like the only option 🙄
Ok so basically i came to the conclusion that the workers are just eating up the overtime they probably getting lol. I mean the government did give them a massive budget this year
File feb 2 got a 971 code irs said it was fixed on feb20 got a letter from the said I would get my refund in 3 to 6 weeks which would have been April 23 but to this day still have not got it really but let you owe them money
I as well emailed my sentor and filled out the paper work to get them to release my refund he has since emailed me 3 times i sent all paper work needed so we shall see how late ng this takes
Crazy how reading over simple information takes them so long they make it seem like it’s hard work it’s really not they are really just messing with us 😂

Do you submits the letter to fax .. because mine said fax delivered after I did the right steps on the letter sent to my mailbox but on my profile it only says return received but not approved till now .. will I also wait for 60 days too
I message my congressman on may 3 got a response today (may 14) saying that I need to file an amendment tax return 😤😤😤. Hopefully i get a fking return this time
