Okay, wow Firstly, thank you so much for everyone who has watched, liked, commented, and subbed. I am really grateful, and massively humbled by the amount of support that I have received on this video. I wasn't expecting anyone to see this video, let alone for it to explode the way it has. I am trying my best to keep up with all of the comments, but I promise that I have read (as far as my brain could handle) 99% of all of the comments. I am speechless, truthfully. As far as my new years resolution goes, I guess its time to set a bigger goal. my NEW new years resolution is now 10,000 by the end of the year! Being completely honest, I have no clue what to upload from this point forward. As much as I love one piece, I dont want to be boxed into creating SOLELY one piece content. I want to hear some of your suggestions, so dont hesitate to give your input. Thank you so much again, and I am so excited to start this year off so strong. Your comments and kind words have not been left lightly, and I cannot express truly how much they mean to me especially at this point in my life. I only want to make good videos that you guys like, and make people smile. Grateful beyond words, Zelly ♥
Tbh you make whatever kind of content you desire man, as long as you keep it natural and authentic, im sure you’ll attract the audience, and the community will grow with you, congrats on your big goal too man a good way to start off 2024 🔥💯
My brother passed away 4 years ago and he was the biggest One Piece fan. I started watching shortly after. I don't know how I'm going to handle life without him once this story ends.
you dont have to, im pretty sure the will of your brother will live on with you and your enjoyment will be his enjoyment as well. A man only dies if he is forgotten
Godspeed. May he rest in peace. My younger brother and I have an deeper connection through this beautifully everlasting story.. I couldn’t imagine life without him, especially when it comes to One Piece.
One Piece carried me in 2023. I finally bit the bullet and started from the very beginning and I haven’t regretted it for a second. Despite the ludicrous amount of episodes, going through each and every one of their adventures really makes you feel like you’re part of the crew, like you’ve gone through this journey with them. It truly is an experience that I hope many others get to enjoy as much as I have.
Seconding this. Started in July 2023 and was completely caught up by Dec. I don't regret it one bit. The only thing I regret is spamming Impel Down for Marineford.
@UnderscoreYTG Started in 2017 myself. It was fun, and I enjoyed it, but like you said. Once I reached Water 7, I was truly hooked like a fish at sea. Such good dialogue and internal conflicts, fantastical settings, amazing side characters, and such a mysterious story. Water 7 will always be my #1 story arc in OP for this reason
@@wojo9732Dude I got bored at Dressrosa and that was 2018 lmao, and I quit watching then. I really wanna start back could I pick up from Dressrosa again? What could I do to recap, just watch recap of all arcs?
dogg i got stuck in the underwater arc ( i forgot its name but its the arc after the timeskip) and i havent watched any episodes since like 2 years or something because its soo boring
I honestly think the older episodes really give the show more personality. Like my headcanon likes to think the entire show has spanned over the last 20 years, and watching the original episodes and seeing the quality progress over time really makes me feel like Im on the journey from the beginning. just my two cents
I can’t imagine my life without this series, a person who I called Nakama is now gone and I think about him everyday. I often have conversations with him in my heart those days where we binged OP and talked about what was going to happen are gone. As Dr. Hiriluk said,” I HAVE LIVED A WONDERFUL LIFE”

Honestly you’ve convinced me. I’m actually not that far from catching up in the anime but I had serious burn out from binge watching. But you’re absolutely right. I’ve already been spoiled majorly for certain things throughout watching one piece so it makes sense that if I don’t catch up I’m bound to be spoiled again
I just got caught up to the anime recently. I have to catch up to the manga now. I am ready for the secrets of the One Piece. I have my own theory on what it is or what Laugh Tale is.
so you still havnt chatched up oh well imma spoil you did you knwo that in jk im not gonna spoil anything me myself im still in the sky pia arc if you dont know what that is dont google it its gonna spoil you alot
@@dripdolphin3575 the best one is 100% the firwst one every the one that goes atta boy and bring alooong all your hope and dreaaaams that one its so good and nostalgic lol but idk why they removed it it was good the others are trash we ones that ive watched im in the long ring long land arc and even though its short its really bad i dont like it other than afro luffy its trash like foxy is a bad villian for the arc dont ya think?
If you want to have an adventure, you will have a fun time; if you are able to analyze symbolism, parallels and other storytelling techniques, here is your playground; if some details catch your eye, you can craft your own theory while being amazed by others' during research In short, the content its own is already fun, but it's the things beyond make you realize you already come out different. Now if it sounds right and you're going in, anytime is good but just make sure the tissue is near.
Dropped the anime in the middle of Skypiea in highschool. After the live action reminded me of how much i love the characters, I decided to read the manga. It's been just under 2 months and I am on chapter 1068. I'm so glad I'm getting caught up now because the mystery of the one piece - and the other mysteries related to it - are impossible to be spoiled for me right now. Seriously, zero regrets.
I'm 38 and I've been watching One Piece for 20years now...and your statement about once you catch up and you could easily do another 1000....thats how I feel and its been in my life for 2 decades! Easily the greatest bit of fiction ever told and I'm always trying to share the love of OP. I'm reading the manga as I have to be there the day the One Piece is revealed! I've made friends with complete strangers over One Piece when meeting them in the wild ❤ Great vid ❤ SUBBED!
Just started the first book 🙏, I’m loving the vibe and community so far. I’m sure that I’m going to love this and hope that I might be able to experience the end with everyone else at some point, but I am making it my priority to savor the experience.
This video describes exactly why I just started One Piece... I thought about watching it already sometimes but if I ever want to start, now's the time... before the big reveal And yes, the finale is gonna be HUGE :)
I've been watching one piece since i was 5 years old. I literally grew up with this story. I cannot imagine not having it anymore once it ends. Enjoying new one piece content every weekend is part of my routine, it's part of my soul
Bro Oda is basically held hostage being forced to continue it. Gear 5 was a literal joke because he no longer cares so he thought 'might as well make it a joke' and everyone saw it and declared it a masterpiece. I feel sad for Oda lol.
@@escapetherace1943 He wanted to make gear five goofy because he missed how old cartoons, and some old anime were animated in a rubber hose style, with charm, and humor, that's why he made it that way, not because he's lazy.
man hearing the glitter song in the background of u talking about us crying throwing up and smiling and laughing and knowing the one piece gave me so many goosebumps, as well as made me feel same as one piece succeeds, just making my eyes water out of sadness and joy. its crazy how much one piece can control ur emotions over any other anime/show/movie ive had some touching moments but not as much as one piece been making me feel.
I started watching One Piece early 2023 and now I’m on Thriller Bark! I honestly never minded the early episodes of the show because I love watching shows like Tom and Jerry, Jetsons, Scooby Doo, etc. I love One Piece so much and I’m so happy that I decided to watch it as I’m new to anime. I caught up on Jujutsu Kaisen so I’m excited to get caught up on One Piece. ☺️
Started in August and I'm almost through whole cake, so excited to be able to interact with the one piece community soon without feeling like I'm gonna be spoiled at every turn
That feeling only goes away if you read the manga lol. I JUST caught up to the anime and OP channels are still causing me to dodge spoilers about what comes after lol. Like I wanna know whats going on but NOT like this!!! Lol.
I’m at episode 400 and started a few months ago for this exact reason, I’ve been a fan of anime for a little while and was always putting it off but now that I started I’m hooked and I don’t have any regrets!
i did the same. im on whole cake island now. i started watching when i saw the title of this video. I think every anime fan knows that when the one piece reveal happens, its going to be as big vader being luke's dad. i found this video again and watched it now and its pretty much all the reasons that i formulated in my brain
I honestly knew nothing about OP or had even heard of it until the Netflix series came out. I’ll be 32 this year and did watch some anime as a kid, but for some reason, never came across this and now I wish I had. I really enjoyed it and that was just the Netflix one. I have since decided to watch the anime and I’m now about 200 episodes in in roughly the last 4 weeks. I’m addicted. So good and so fun to watch even if it gets really crazy at times. I want to read the manga as well. So I’ve been starting to collect those now too lol.
buying someone else's manga on depop and vinted (or other sites similar) is great for saving money depending where you're from. I managed to cop volumes 1-75 on depop for like £130. the manga is also great to read as there's the art between chapter's which tend to give a brief insight into what other side characters are up to elsewhere from the main story.
If you're in the US, Viz has a Shonen Jump app where you can read all 1000+ chapters of One Piece, along with Bleach, Naruto, Black Clover, My Hero Academia, Dragon Ball, etc. for only $3 a month. I'd highly recommend that over watching the anime, especially after the time skip.
So true. I just caught up in the anime last weekend and had to wait the first time for an episode. When I started I always said that there are still so many episodes and that I would get tired of watching it but as I got further I couldnt get enough of OP. And now im sitting here just waiting for the next episodes hoping that it never ends. OP is so worth the time.
The part where you said that everyone has there own reasons to grow attached to the show really resonated with me. For me personally personally it was Laboon, wanting to see Luffy make his way back to him and then discovering that Brook was in the crew that Laboon was waiting for and then joining the staw hats to see Laboon again! Absolutely incredible story writing and i cant wait for that Réunion 😭
Bro one piece is so beautiful and people who havent watched up to arlong at least are missing out on emotions that you didn't even know were possible. The way all the characters connect to the story, the way all the strawhats have dreams, the way the music adds to the story and how the world is so large and grand. Man I love one piece and as zelly said "There are too many eps till there arent enough" so dont act like its a challenge to catch up when it really isn't when you do get into it, and trust me, you will get into it.
Multiple people had brought it up to me, but it was watching your video many months ago that finally convinced me to hit the go button and start watching…. …. And now I’m in Wano, nearing the end of the journey to catch up. Actually felt a pretty strong swell of emotion while re-watching this video and thinking about how much impact the show had on me . Thank you you were a catalyst for me
I can still remember watching Alabasta for the first time, I loved Ms All Sunday so much she was my favorite side character and the moment I saw the title pop up saying shed be the next crewmember i was actually so happy. Its probably my favorite moment from when I was speeding through.
@@bogadestroyer738 Same I just wish I could motivate my friends to watch until water 7 😭 I think I'll send this video to my friend still in east blue :DD
For anyone watching this debating if they should catch up before it ends, it's 100% worth it. I never thought i'd ever catch up, but in 2023 i made the choice to catch up using the colored manga (as the anime has inconsistent pacing). Highly recommend catching up with the colored manga and watching certain scenes you wanna watch animated. There are manga chapter to anime conversion websites to help with that.
I'm incredibly new to anime, and of started with demon slayer as a classic, and decided to go one anime at a time. One year later i just finished hxh, and it was so amazing, a whole year spent watching it. And honestly, i think when i recover from hxh I will start one piece, i bet its so much better and amazing, (but hxh will always have a place in my heart lol)
I started watching one piece 2-3 weeks ago because of this video, now I'm at episode 342 and I don't regret starting it :) Before starting I didn't even think that I'd like it because believe it or not I've never watched anime in my life before (except h- yk) But when I forced myself to start and watched ONLY 1 episode, I instantly became addicted to one piece and watched over 120+ episodes in 1 week, my watching progress slowed down on skypiea because it was too boring but now it's getting faster again and I'm glad i started watching one piece as my first anime :)
@@J_O23 i was watching 10-20 eps per day and now I finished op 3 days ago, it's so boring to wait for another episode for a week because I was used to watching at least 10 episodes every day
@@J_O23 more like 2.5 months, tbh when you don't force yourself to watch it and actually have fun watching 1000 episodes feels like nothing, and I wish there were 1000 more episodes so I could continue watching. So if you didn't start one piece already I really recommend you start watching it because the story is very very gripping
I started one piece during pandemic out of whim, caught up after 2 months and the last episode i watched before getting caught up with the weekly was 982 and boy the statement that there's too much episode until there's not enough episodes was damn right
I’m working on it! I started in late June of last year and I’m in the middle of punk hazard. I’m gonna try to make a big push for the end in the next few months. At least 5 eps a day, maybe more.
I started watching One Piece in 2013 when I was 14 years old and I've loved it ever since. It has accompanied me through some major life changes, experiences, and milestones so I look back at all those episodes very fondly and I can't wait to see what's in store.
Caught up with the manga over the summer last year... chapter 1-1091 at the time I finished in about 7 weeks. Helped a lot that I had a job where I have plenty of free time so I could sometimes get through 20 chapters at work alone depending on how dense they are. So glad I did. Excited and sad to someday see the end. It's so true that once you get caught up there suddenly isn't enough.
Started watching the anime the week after the live action series debuted. I am now finishing up Wano, it is so worth it and I should be completely caught up in about a few days to a week. It is so worth it. Now I have started collecting the manga by volumes and have read up to Alabasta.
I started reading one piece some months ago, but I never thought of the eventuality of spoiling what is the one piece. Thinking about how a lot of the series is well known (Ace, Gear five ecc.) it's a very good reason to catch up before that revelation
I started One Piece late last year. For years I knew I wanted to watch and never did it. I finally pulled the trigger. Watching this video made me emotional, the idea it’s gonna end and the culmination of everything is mi d blowing. Relating to certain story arcs or characters is absolutely true; Saying to many episodes and then saying not enough… ALSO TRUE LOL! Loved this video
I finally picked the series back up thanks to the live action and have spent the last year dedicated to this journey. I watched the 4kids edit up to Orange Town when I was a kid and somehow got lost along the way, next time I caught back up it was Drum Island and I was too far behind. I didn't think about One Piece for almost 20 years, but now I'm at the end of Wano and it has genuinely become one of my favorite stories ever told; and that's really saying something. The anime has issues, largely pacing and some funky animation (sometimes it's hilariously bad and weirdly works with the aesthetic) but as the series went on it had me gripped, it made me cry multiple times, and a near permanent grin began to stretch across my face as I got further and further in. Then I noticed, the grin stayed with me when I wasn't watching it; and the way I thought about things or reacted to situations began to change. That is the real magic of this story, it bred a real wanderlust in me, it made me want to experience real freedom not chained to the expectations of society and break anyone free who wishes the same. It made me want to change the world and that's a powerful experience only a slim few pieces of art can accomplish. The last year of my life was dedicated to experiencing this story and I already want to jump back in from the start, it's truly the modern Odyssey and will be talked about for generations. It's far more than just a silly and fun Shonen, it's life
It’s weird to think that 7 years ago was 2017, but that’s when I got into OP and I haven’t regretted it at all. It has everything you could want from a series, and is only getting better 25 years later. My only worries are for the VAs as no one can replace them, and they’re on the journey just like us.
6 years ago for me which is absolutely insane to think about 😭😭 i agree, i think the new animation is well anticipated and will be well recieved but i think the new VAs will change how we view the characters since the voices of the characters are so iconic in themselves
I just started watching in September this past year. I’ve been avoiding it ever since I saw the 4kids version as a kid and it gave me nightmares 😂. Now I’m obsessed. I’m on episode uh… 507 I think. It was seriously such a great decision and honestly not too bad if you just stay consistent. It’s so much better than I thought it would be. There is a reason why it’s been the best of the best for so long.
@@abhisheksingh4-yrb.tech.me218 I started 30th of November and I caught up yesterday, but now I don’t know what to watch anymore all I want is one piece😅
Just recently got into one piece and decided to do a marathon of it, still a bit far from the more recent episodes (just entered the skypiea arc episodes) but I can confirm that I’ve been having a blast, I never really expected for one piece to be this exciting but I’m glad I’m being able to enjoy it, on my way to Wano!!
getting around 3.36k subscribers in 10 days was probably quite the shock since your goal was initially only 200. Just remember to not feel pressured and keep going for the passion of it.
I'm on episode 390 and I am blind to anything after that besides seeing a poster of current Zoro. I'm so excited to finish it! The character development is peak and I truly love every character, even the bad guys. (P.S. Luffy's singing is AWESOME!!!)
I started One Piece three months ago without watching the filler and now I’m at Water 7 arc at episode 247. When I saw the Alabasta arc I fell in love with this anime. This anime is the best decision In my life. For me is the best anime, before One Piece, my favourite was Fairy Tail but when I started One Piece, I inmediatly changed my opinion.
i remember watching this when it came out and deciding to watch one piece, 8 months later and im finishing the punk haard arc, i am determined to catch up by the end of the year
And I did achieve that goal. I managed to catch up within 3 months. Starting from October and officialy catching up before Ep 1089. It was quite the journey.
@@nickn4672 It was quite the grind. And also because I didn't just watch the anime, I also read some of the manga for better pacing, but mostly I watched One Pace to speed things up.
When I was younger (around fourth grade elementary), I watched One Piece on TV but I wasn’t really caught up nor did I understand what was going on since I watched it during the midway point. The last episode I remembered watching during that time was Frankie’s Debut I think. Now since new years of 2024 I decided to actually rewatch from East Blue and now I’m almost in Alabasta! I am so glad my friends gave me the strength to watch about 60 episodes in almost a month
Had the blessing to have grown up in the perfect time to experience this. Been fortunate to have watched this since I was 5/6 years old. Hard to believe it’s been 20 years
I've said it before and I will say it again. When the chapter where we find out what the One Piece is, and even more so when the Anime Episode comes out where it's revealed, it will be on par with Ultra Instinct appearing for the first time in DragonBall. For those who remember... when Goku achieved UI for the first time, everyone was watching. It didn't matter if you were a DB fan or not, it didn't matter if you didn't watch anime or not; Everyone who was at all aware of anime culture was there watching and cheering when that iconic OST started for the first time. When the One Piece is revealed, the world will be watching.
@@skillgamer76, nah, not like ultra instinct. I can go to ppl and ask them if they know goku with white hair and they'll know him, but people outside anime don't even know luffy💀
I recently started my One Piece journey, not with watching the anime but with watching the manga. I have always been a person to put off One Piece and refused to ever watch/read it because I thought it was over hyped and just too long, then I said screw it and started reading it, and I fell in love. I just finished the Alabasta saga and am in the beginnings of Skypiea. With the announcement of the new One Piece anime remake, I am super excited for the future of the story and the amount of people the new anime will bring into the story.
I started my one piece journey this past summer in 2023. I just clicked on this video and I can say that I am amazed how I never gave this show chance back in 2001. I watched my cousin get into it at that time but I didn’t care to watch with him. East Blue was rough to watch but the character development was good. I took my time going through Alabasta and it was starting to get better. Sky Island is when I started to really pay attention, but Water 7 was an emotional roller coaster for me. That’s when I knew I was completely locked in and I didn’t want to miss anything else. This morning i started the Summit War arc so I think I’m making good progress so far and it just keeps getting better and better
I saw a few episodes when I was a kid, Zorro's backstory stuck with me throughout the years despite never having the patience to catch up. Now, here I am years later, loving the characters from the Netflix show & falling for them all over again in the anime. I just finished the Crocodile arc this week, and don't know if I'll ever stop hearing Vivi screaming "STOP FIGHTING" in my head. At least, not any time soon. Can't wait to start another adventure!
It’s wild that ppl have a mindset of only watching “modern” anime, like anything before 2015 is old or outdated lol I could never imagine if I missed out watching just the classics of the early to late 2000s. Classics don’t get worse with time, they age well like fine wine, they get better. It’s like assuming new anime is the only thing worth watching, bc it’s newer & must be endlessly progressing in its quality. Progression isn’t linear nor is it inherent.
I'm at episode 35 now, and I watch every second from intro to outro... "POCKET no COIN soreto YOU WANNA BE MY FRIEND?" That just touched my heart in episode one and now I'm in love
@@ZellyJP not a huge spoiler when you have no prior knowledge and no idea what’s going on. There’s so much going on for so long it’s hard to spoil much

I just started this month and have gotten to Episode 150! I'm so excited to be able to start it now :P Im not a huge manga reader so I think I'll take my time with these episodes and wait patiently for the finale. Id love to join a group or something with other people so I can comment on the anime while I go through it!
I started last year August, I’m currently on episode 1048 (dubbed) Also, I recommend trying to resist looking anything up about One Piece on Google even if it’s something super small. Because what happens is that it leads to more lore and large communities especially on Reddit that don’t answer the specific question but instead spoil things that aren’t even related to it. Also try not to read comments a lot too because dimwits spoil things that happen like 500 episodes later (not an exaggeration). And trust me, I’m speaking for personal experience. It sucks to get spoiled because when it actually happens you don’t have any reaction because you already expected it to come. Aside from all of that One Piece is one of my first and favorite anime I’ve ever watched, and I hope it’s the same for you!!

Thank you for the vid man! I took a trip to Japan in march and after seeing the copy of the manga in EVERY 7eleven in Tokyo I was debating on wether or not start the series. And your video was the last drop in the bucket that won me over. I binged 20 episodes yesterday, not because I want to be done quick but because I couldn't stop watching. I'm at episode 22 now, will come back here once I catch up a significant amount.

I'm right there with ya. I remember the big Wano reveal. I instantly messaged my friends and asked them "what in the looney tunes was that?!" Damn that was awesome. I can't believe I've been watching this for over a decade now. Probably closer to 15 years.
I started my journey in late November of 2023, and I have a goal to watch 100 episodes a month starting from the new year. I'm past episode 200 now and I absolutely adore it. My plan is to be caught up by the end of the year. I also want to thank you for not having spoilers in the video, I already know a few of them that I wish I hadn't so I really appreciate that man. This is also the first anime where I WILLINGLY watch the fillers and feel bad for skipping them when I do, so that's saying something. I really want to take my time and enjoy my journey while also making sure to stay consistent and not risk dropping it. This is the year of One Piece for me!
I am with you too I have not skipped a single filler episode of one piece and am now on episode 837. this story has a certain spot in my heart and it’s gonna be there forever, it is crazy the different emotions u can feel with the characters I even cry some times lol but have fun on ur journey🤩
dude I saw this two months ago and I decided to stop procrastinating and start watching, it’s been two months and I officially just got to episode 1000
I am all caught up with the anime. If you cried many times in 320 episodes, be prepared to cry even more, Especially with the more deep topics they go into.
thank you so much man. Before I had watched this video, I had already given up on one piece at skypeia arc after feeling like it was too much to go through. Watching this video made me realize that there was so much more to this anime to make it worth watching. Now, I am currently at fishman island arc and I’ve loved every second of the series so far.
I sent this video to my friend. I started about 5 months ago and I'm still watching Zou, currently episode 766 of the anime. I tried convincing my friend, who kept claiming that he would start it so no spoilers around him. Two months after me starting it he started, but it's been a month since he told me he was on episode 33 and he hasn't advanced at all. I really hope this gets him to watch it 'cause I really got no one else to talk about the anime and I'm also very bad at not spoiling stuff so I would probably end up telling him what the one piece is the moment I know what it is.
My boyfriend and I started recently after watching the live action. To begin with I only watched it with him sometimes, but now I'm also becoming very invested. Currently at the enies lobby arc. Your video just made me even more excited about it!
Been trying to catch up since 2014/15. I’m now at 965 and man it has been an interesting ride. I fall into an insane binge for a month and then dropping it for like half a year. But Wano has been so good that I have been consistently keeping up and hopefully catching up soon. I’m very glad I grew up with this show instead of binging it in a year or skipping episodes to catch up or rush it :)
I started one piece in early march 2024. Im already to the timeskip and I know that although I’ve had things spoiled for me, the one piece itself is something I would really want to experience for myself
My mental was at an all time low during the pandemic one piece and mushoku tense novels and mangas got me through it and actually changed me. Love OP now.
I’m about 40 episodes deep, about to finish Arlong. I’ve been taking it a little too slow, and I plan to start watching it more soon. I’m not gonna force myself to watch One Piece, i’m going to watch when I want to, and I think that’s the solution. Dont force yourself to do it, just enjoy the voyage! Edit: I will return several times to update my progress until I catch up!
The Entire story of One Piece makes me very emotional. The Characters, the writing, how each and every character has their own story with their own hardships that any person can connect with. The pain that lurks in every corner; seeing your favorite character suffer. From start to finish. One Piece is a masterpiece to be behold by all of humanity.
tbh one of the main reasons is that it feels like there are so many filler episodes and that i just dont want to waste my time with those and just focus on the actual story
I remember watching the anime as a kid with my brother but I had to stop around the end of Alabasta arc becsuse there was no dub, i remember this because Robin was (snd still is) my biggest strawhat crush, and super excited when dhe joined rhe crew. He later told me as an adult that he blames me for him rewatching the entire series again from there because he already started 😂 I later began watching more anime as a teen, and i really loved Naruto and my friend loved One Piece so we agreed to watch each other's shows. This was in the second half of the summer holiday, and i spent pretty much every waking moment no-lifing one piece until i caught up in dressrosa in like 3 weeks which would be impossible for me now as an adult, because of a lack of stamina (eepy) and responsibilities, etc. I know the video says you shouldn't do this but i don't regret it, it was really enjoyable doing this, one piece was so burnt into my brain that i could legit form full on japanese sentences after. My friend also stopped watching one piece since then and i stopped watching Naruto, now we're bigger fans of each others shows rather than our own. I just wanna say, my younger self had shit taste for thinking naruto was better 😂 I later dropped one piece during the awful big mom anime arc for like 4+ years until i couldn't stop hearing my non one piece fan friends talking about it from the live action, gear fifth and another friend telling me years before that the quality gets way better in Wano, I then had the 2nd largest backlog of one piece ill probably ever have, 250 episodes, pretty much everything except the last few episodes of wano, but i took it a bit more slowly but i did somewhat blaze through the island invasion. Overall, I've dropped one piece twice, but with how good the animation and general quality of the anime is and how they seem to willing to invest money and talented individuals to make the live action, wit studio remake and the two newest sagas, im definitely in for the long haul 🎆🎉
My son just picked up One Piece at 7 and he was so excited when a 25th Anniversary event was happening near us. He took pictures with the cosplayers and bought a good amount of merch. I doubt interest in this anime is fading soon.
I’m 47 and started watching anime in the early 90’s. I started One Piece with my kids about 6 months ago and I must say it is one of the best anime series I’ve ever seen. It’s truly a great work and should not be missed.
I'm almost caught up. There are only less than 40 episodes to go. I started when the Netflix live-action adaptation first showed up. Thanks for the reminder.
I think there might be others that will be better, but a scene I know that’s going to happen that probably will be my favorite is the heartwarming reunion with laboon. Finally getting to see luffy and BROOK AGAIN!!!!!!
