Thank you for watching, @txsuzyq5655. The actual parade begins heading east on Main Street at 10am, but it doesn’t get back west on Main to the Fire Station-where our coverage takes place-until 10:18am-ish. So, as we have done every year, we utilize that time to provide a little parade history and some community updates via the video, as well as thank our sponsors who make it possible for viewers like you to enjoy watching from anywhere in the world. In addition, since the actual parade begins heading east on Main at 10am, we don’t want to post our start time as 10:15am or 10:20am only to have folks see our start time online in the days leading up to the parade and cause them to miss some of the entries because they showed up to Main Street 15-20 minutes late thinking that’s when the parade actually began. Hope that makes sense. Thanks again for watching!
