Let’s say you have both this bikes and use them the same way for 10 years : You would spend less on the ninja 500 Also, the aprilia might not even last 10 years
This bike from kawasaki is a gem of a bike, ultra smooth engine, very good brakes, highly reliable. I wish kawasaki would have given LED indicators & Upside down fork.
A day ago I visited both showroom rs Aprilia and ninja 500. Rs aprilia turning radius is very very bad you hand will touch with tank everytime whenever u will take u turn. Too much engine noise. Riding posture is better in ninja. Look wise Aprilia is far far ahead then ninja.
the truth is, kawaski don't want to go local. if they wanted they could have done it long time back. but they don't consider India worthy of their bikes. that's y they just focusing on liter bikes so that they can get bulk profit by selling less units also.
Congratulations!! I am considering it as an upgrade from my current Hornet 2.0. How is the riding comfort for long rides (500KM)? I have done 400+ kms/day trips many times and am looking for something more powerful and want to avoid the wind blast. I mostly drive on highways and mildly bad roads sometimes.
0:35 Bikewale keeps shut when R3 is sold. But they dont want Ninja 300 on sale ? Talk about bias lol... Both are 300cc twin cylinders...yet the Ninja gets the flak. Apart from features, the Ninja 300 doesn't lag behind on anything. Its a fantastic sports tourer, has a giant fuel tank and admirable fuel economy, commendable top speed and reasonably tractable in city and u save atleast 1.3 lakhs over and above the R3. What more u want ? Srsly
Why would anyone get a ninja 300 when you can get a rc390 for 50k lesser? You can tour on the new rc390, it has much better Hardware, even engine is more refined compared to previous gen rc.
Kawasaki needs to manufacture this bike in india otherwise such a great bike will be over thrown by aprilia as a indian consumer am glad india is getting such importance by foreign bike brands
@@genichiroashina6372the country in which he resides. He said it’s very expensive there. It’s very cheap here in the United States. One of the cheapest sport bikes you can buy brand new
I don't agree that the Ninja 300 should be discontinued as mentioned in the video. 300 cc is good enough for any Indian road. If it's a good motorcycle, then why discontinue it?
If they give design like this with 300 cc it will be good.. people go for looks .. just look at r15v4 it looks a lot like r7 .. so people buy it cause of looks they dont care about low power
@@brendonfernandes2877 I had some expectations from the Ninja given that Kawasaki still has comfort on while making these supersports. Ninja 650 is an excellent sport tourer for both rider and pillion, I am told.
@@sinner_raNope! I have the Z650 which has the same seat as the Ninja 650. It's absolutely horrible. The older Ninja 650 was better but the new one with the step up seat is bad. The Ninja 1000 is a lot better as the bike size is huge.
Kawasaki, like other Japanese OEMs, acts like they're doing us a favor by launching their bikes in India. European OEMs are taking advantage of Japan's hubris.
Kawasaki at least sells most of its international line up in India unlike the other Japanese bikes. However it's the Indian government taxes which is the problem. They don't want to take the risk in a difficult market like India. There are other bigger markets where they can spend their money
@@Originalrebelosho The taxation laws are to protect the Indian OEMs. Cause without them, Japanese and European OEMs will flood the Indian motorcycle market with so many good products that Indian companies will lose their market share. It's basically a version of what the US govt did to protect Harley Davidson from bankruptcy and being dominated by UJM products.
@@pinakisutar4814 It's slower because of emission norms. This bike makes 51 bhp elsewhere where there is no BS6 emissions. Slap an after market exhaust and an ECU flash and this bike will easily match the Ninja 400 while having a much better mid range torque which was quite poor on the Ninja 400
@@brendonfernandes2877 I know but missions based power reductions are not a Indian problem it's prevalent in other parts of world as well ... I think a few more hps would not hurt, Obviously we Indians deserve better .....Elsewhere the n500 is offered with the updated dash as well. Here we don't even get an option... And not even comparing the other features of competitions
@@pinakisutar4814 Err India has BS6 OBD 2 norms which are among the most strict in the world. So yes India has very very strict norms which has caused many bikes to be dead without an update. In fact the NX500 is not available in India because of emission norms issues. The Ninja 500 isn't a bike that is going to sell well in India so it makes no sense to launch the higher end version as well. Might as well get the much more powerful Ninja 650 instead of the Ninja 500 SE variant which is almost a lakh more expensive than the normal variant.
