My first road trip reviee with my 2024 Kia EV9 GT Line! It was pretty epic compared to my previous Tesla Model Y, Model X, and Model 3! Might have to pass on the Tesla Cybertruck, ha!
You basically can drive 4 to 5 hrs on the highway in a truck before "needing" to drive, and 6 hrs in a crunch. I stop like every two hours re-up on snacks and stretch my legs. Saying that and i rarely roadtrip, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. I commute 32 miles roundtrip 5 days a week, and this is the best of both worlds.
excellent content, and really informative about the EV9. Can you please make a video of the Mobile app features? mostly interested in remote charging and scheduling, and/or camera controls?
I will say the layout of how and where you can get the relevant information you would want for an EV is either non intuitive or not there at all. Have to hunt for it and really when you map a destination, it should really tell you SoC on arrival, etc. Question - while cruising, and you hit an irregularity in the road, do you feel like the car shimmies sideways?
That efficiency seems really impressive for such a large car going 70 mph at cold temperatures. I am wondering what it would have done to the range to keep four people comfortable at maybe 68 degrees. I don’t need such a big car, but it’s tempting as it has so much going for it. I think I’d probably go for the Wind.
