We had one for about 30 hours. It was a lemon, and the dealer bought it back for full price. Kioti screwed them over. The dealer had to eat the cost. We were willing to trade it for another one, but the dealer got us a huge deal on a New Holland, so we swiched to that. Things I liked about it. 1. Very roomy. More than any other machine in its class. 2. The controls were very smooth. 3. Slide up door. Having worked with the swing out doors in the past, the slide up door is much more convenient. Things I did not like about it. 1. The control panel/display being down low was annoying. 2. The side window guards were on the inside of the machine. This absolutely baffled me. It doesn't protect the glass, and how do you clean the inside of the glass? 2 square inches at a time? Stupid, if it's on the outside, you can at least spray it down. 3. A little underpowered for a 75hp unit. It's not horrible, though. The unit we bought started having hydraulic issues. Minor at first. When running a brush hog, which was well within spec of the GPMs, it started not being able to do two functions at once. Stopped using the brush hog and reported it to the dealer. They came out and did some pressure tests and said everything looked fine. But it kept getting worse until it wouldn't even lift an empty bucket while moving. Our dealer was absolutely amazing. They fought with Kioti for a month while they had it in thier shop. They even brought us loner machines to try out while they were fighting with Kioti, A JCB and a New Holland. Eventually Kioti just ghosted them and they bit the bullet and bought it back at full price. Then negociated a heck of a deal with New Holland for a c332 for the same price we paid for the Kioti. Which was $15k off the sticker price. It's a much more capable machine. Had to go back to a swing door, and it's not quite as roomy inside, but better in every other metric.
I'm curious about this. Is the NH332 a HI-Flow or standard flow unit? Most of these have anti-stall metering software that shuts down certain functions over others when a function starts to get overpowered. Usually the loader lift/curl will go first, then come back when the cutter backs off. I'm just curious if the NH is a HI-FLOW or if their standard flow works differently.
@kentonequipment4687 We did not get the high flow option on the 332, not sure if they have that option on it. The brush cutter we have is well within the flow specs of both machines. The Kioti ran it fine for a while. But slowly got worse over about 15 hours until it was unusable, even without the cutter. The 332 is a beast. It's also more refined with an actual air ride seat, bigger HD screen, and faster travel speed. Lift capacity is higher.
@@mattmcc7930 Interesting. At 15K-20K more i'd hope so. I wonder why the dealer couldn't find a problem. If something works, then doesn't, then there's a problem to solve. It sounds like something's missing here.
@kentonequipment4687 They spent a lot of time trying to figure it out. They had to lock the keys in the safe at 28 hours and stop working on it. Over 30 hours, and thier options with Kioti become much more limited. At least that's what they told us.
It’s a first impression video if you want to be technical, I paid 65k. I’m at 50 hours currently and I’m happy. I made another video just talking about some minor issues I have with it. No deal breakers yet for anyone looking into theses.
thinking of buying one of these, same one you have for my business rental, operating style company. what’s your opinion on these for that application and anything to be aware of on this machine specifically? thanks 🤙🏻🏝️
I have shy of 50 hours, I was waiting to get to the 50 hour mark to do a follow up video. So far it has not let me down it’s done everything I need it too. Only problem I have is the 2 speed not functioning, I waiting for my 250 hour service to have them check on it at the dealer but it doesn’t stop the machine from doing what I need it to do.
@@I-bar-ranch Understood, very glad to hear that. sorry to hear about the two speed not functioning correctly, what is exactly happening…. not shifting or being able to switch speeds? can’t wait for the video update on your machine. thank you. 🤙🏻🚜
Nice machine, I have a DK 6010 Kioti tractor and I have absolutely no complaints. The tractor definitely punches above its weight. Kioti competes with all top brands, I’d go as far to say out does a lot of the competition.
Im in the market right now and have been interesin these machines. Over 20 years ago I bought a new Daewoo before they bought Bobcat. For an unknown South Korean machine, it turned out to be wonderful and gave me excellent service, so Im not afraid to try something different. It is concerning that you have two people in the comments that said they got lemons that had to bought back. Thanks for sharing!
@@balamala2647 Not at this point, On my most recent video I stated the 2 speed doesn’t work so I will see how effective there warranty department handles this issue. It started around 10hours so once I get the opportunity to take it to get service will see. I can do everything I need with the one speed so I’m not too upset that it doesn’t function at the moment.
Very curious what you had problems with so I could keep on eye on those fail parts. I’ll be posting an update video once I get 50 hours in. Thank you for your optimism for my end. 😅
I put videos up here. Youve been warned. The demo the sent me to use while mint was broke down was worse. It broke downn in my driveway and they had to talk me through getting it running.
