@damilolaakanni the 1lr gue is not that expensive of an engine. Rnd mabey for chassis and suspension tuning but mabey as a 1 off could be very nice

@@urgandma That's exactly what they would do. They're part Toyota after all. Since either putting a 1LR or supercharging the existing engine (2UR) would require Lexus to modify the car's body to meet equal or better road performance, it would be a lot easier to supercharge an engine that already fits inside - requiring less body modifications - than putting an overall bigger powertrain.

I can assure you that the wind scarf is still available on the 2024 because mine has it. This is my favorite LC500 video. Great philosophical ending. I’ve been asked if my LC500 makes me happy and of course the answer is no but I do enjoy it - A LOT.

LC500 conv. owner here. A tip: the cup holder can perfectly fit a Samsung flip5. It's a natural phone cradle.

Such a fine-looking car with a great engine. I'd rather have an LC500 over a Mercedes-Benz SL. I passed a bright yellow LC500 coupe on the highway today and it's a stunning design. Lexus seems to have created a car that can't help but make people happy.

Just set the heating on to climate concierge and you're good to go. The new touchscreen spoils the look of the front dash but I would have loved the overhead 360 camera.

i’m pretty sure the 2024 still has the neck scarfs, your specific one didn’t have it tho. look at extra throttle house’s review on the 2024 LC500; they turn it on

Weirdly, the first car that comes to my mind is the SC 430. Simplify the lights, smooth out the lines, and you end up with the echoes to that original 2000’s era “jewel of Lexus”. It’s a fitting final chapter to the Toyota/Lexus V8.

Yes, Lexus has been using this engine for some time - but do NOT forget that it is an evolution of the engine that put them on the map to begin with back in 1990; the 1UZ-FE!

I would have loved to see this bespoke package on the LS500...and that 5.0 V8 while they're at it. Speaking of the LS, it really needs a design change. It has looked like the ES since the LS460.

Yeah they missed it by not putting the 5.0 in the LS. Especially when they had the nerve to call it a 500. I think the LSes days are numbered

I’ve only owned my LC for a month now but it’s everything I could have wanted and more! I’ve loved my ISF for the last 3 years too but this is so different. Ever since it came out, I new I wanted one. Especially the 2019 inspiration series, Flare Yellow with the bespoke white and yellow interior. I was able to find one local to me in AZ, one owner and it worked out perfect timing. Your review was awesome, and I love how you tied it to happiness as I’ve had similar thoughts since owing it.

I've had my 2024 LC 500 Convertible - Bespoke Build - for just over 2 weeks and LOVE IT! I have the blue/white interior, Ultra White and blue top. FYI, mine has the Climate Concierge package which DOES include the upper body/ neck ventilation; love it!

I find the window thing very weird and unintuitive. Why not just have it where when the top is down the little back windows go down and when you put it up they come up? Lexus couldve done better. Always something with them lol but I suppose it is a very very good car otherwise. And with regards to the neck heaters in the seats, it appears as though the seat with the heater and is a 1 piece seat and the others are all 2 piece seats.

I've always liked the LC500, and that interior is absolutely stunning, I love it. I'd love to own one of these one day. I'd also love to see an electric version, maybe call it the LC500e. Or at least a plug in hybrid version.

@@eastonnida8213 yeah but it's just a regular hybrid. I think a plug in version would be great, where you plug it in and can go some distance on battery power, but if you're driving far or need extra power the gasoline engine is there if you need it.
