No, based off what I'm seeing I think you're going to see a slow down in Mercedes EVs. It sounds like they will be producing more hybrids then pure EVs in the near future. I think the G-Class will go on but you may see a downsized hybrid engine instead of a straight ICE. Thanks for the question. Appreciate you dropping in and commenting!
The reason I am asking is that my dealership is offering to purchase my G63 and the price they offer is very attractive ( over the sticker price+ markup). This makes me think about whether Mercedes is going to discontinue it.
@@gjumpers7017 Do you have a V8? Because the V8s are being discontinued. Personally I think the V8 G63s will go up in value as Hybrids and EVs start getting more mainstream. If the dealer is offering over sticker for a used one Id go check the private market and see what other sellers are trying to get. Personally, Id enjoy it a while longer, take care of it, keep an eye on prices and see where you're at in 6 month or year. Good luck!
Warning, long answer incoming. My all time favorite a 1963 Chevrolet Corvette splitback, its just a gorgeous car, it talks to me 🙂 The cars that got me into cars were the Lamborghini Countach from The Cannonball Run and the Pontiac Trans-Am from Smokey and The Bandit. I can already see eyes rolling but I'm a Lambo guy. I love pretty much all of the Lambo's but my fav is the Sesto Elemento. If you haven't yet put on some headphones and go watch some POV driving videos of the Hurcan or Aventador, listen to to V10 (Huracan) and V12 (Aventador) sing!! An Audi R8 V10 is an acceptable substitute for the V10.. Enjoy and thanks for the question!
