I think you only get the luminated logo if you add the exterior styling package too.

It does demonstrate that “luxury car tax” is increasingly mainstream …. Like 40% tax rates.

A heated steering wheel is showing in standard equipment so if you're not bothered about heated seats you can save yourself a bit of money here. I've never used my heated seats but do like my heated steering wheel. If you go for DSG you can't upgrade to the leather seats?

I think the R-line looks the best out of the non performance mk8.5 models. However it’s disappointing to see so many things were standard (eg passenger protection, heated steering wheel etc) on the current and previous models now becoming optional equipment. I couldn’t get an r line quote on carwow but DtD are offering just under 20% discount on the new golf at the moment.

The ‘R’ on the door looks terrible. Sure hope the emblem is back on the fender with the R.

Sorry but you still get the manual bonnet stay and the hard cardboard along the side of the centre console on a £40K plus car plus the infotainment screen just looks stuck on. BMW 1Series M sport for me- may cost more but it is genuine premium.

Another nice little update sam shame these no GTI or R on their!!😞 I know you are really into your Golf's but is there anyway you can try & find out about any information on the new facelift Cupra Leon as you go onto RU-vid & all you get is foreign people at the launch event in Spain & even on Cupras website there's nothing really but you seem to have your way of getting information!!😊 Anyway Another great update sam kind regards Dave.....👌🏻👍🏻
