I love that you curate your collection. I'm at the same point, if my shelves aren't enough, time to weed out the weakest in the collection. I think that's a really fun and healthy way to collect. I still cannot get rid of Criterions though
I don’t make a lot of money so by selling titles, that’s how I fund my collection. I think it’s a must, especially with all the different releases we get each weak. Criterion’s are tough to sell lol
I know you’re a big collector of the NECA stuff too but these new $70 prices are insane. I stop at target every July and that’s when I grab the toonie terrors.
Cool set up. Its so great to keep things in order like you have. Myself, i have my films in my living room , so things are reduced to a large rotating stand that holds over 800 discs, and i use my tv stand for my Criterion and Arrow, with one smaller shelve for my scream factory 4ks and box sets. I'm like you, occasionally i weed out the films that are taking up space in attempt to use what i have for storage.
Setup looks nice! Two questions. What shelves are you using? They look similar to one I have but I believe they are different. When you frame the Arrow posters are the food lines still visible? Can’t tell in the video. Thanks for sharing brother!
Thanks for watching! The shelves are called “Prepac” and are from Amazon. I really love these ones because the films sit flush with the edge of the shelves and it looks super clean. I also have an Atlantic shelf in my living room for other stuff but those movies pop out a lot more. In terms of the posters, the lines do still show but you have to really look for it. At a glance, it’s not very visible. The frames are 16x20 and look super clean.
@@cinema.inspired nice in both accounts, thanks!I opted for Atlantic shelves. I’m not happy with the quality. I should have went with Prepac. The movies on my short Atlantic don’t stick out but they do in my talk ones.
@@l.a.jewell I also have the tall one and it sticks out and it bothers me but yes the quality is quite poor but I think those are the shelves the majority of people use.
Awesome collection and really well organised and displayed. Enjoyed watching this first view of your channel and have subscribed. I haven’t uploaded a collection video of my physical media but hope to soon. Will check out your other videos. Thanks for uploaded and keep up the good work. Best of British to you, collector across the pond :)
@@PMCollectorAdam thank you for watching, subscribing, and taking the time to leave a comment. This was actually just a quick glance; I’m planning on doing a more in depth one soon with some minor changes.
New subscriber! You have such a nicely organized collection overall. Thanks for sharing and i can relate to the money that goes into everything but it shows how much you embrace it! 👌
Thanks for the sub! Hopefully my other videos will keep you around and thanks for taking the time to comment. I’ve always been very organized and I need my space the same way!
Great movie room! Thanks so much for the tour. I’m with you on regularly curating the collection. I have a set amount of space and when it’s full I have some decisions to make about what titles need to move out of the collection to make room for new films.
@@karlietimball9668 lol ok ok, I’ll let you know when I finish work. Keep in mind my measurements may differ from what you can use depending on ur wall space. I’ll let you know for both sets. The ones here the shelves are a bit closer because I wanted 2 on top of each shelf
Thank you! I just grabbed Miami Blues and The Hot Spot. I’m looking into the world noir boxset, welcome to the dollhouse, the bride wore black, elegant beast, and a few others at the moment!
@@cinema.inspired I need to pick up world noir 1 as well. I have Elegant Beast, Red Sun, a Moment of Romance and Big Time Gambling Boss. Also have preorders coming in for the next couple of months.
