2024 NordicTrack S22i Studio Bike Review. Feature Rich Bike! 

I got my bike a few weeks back and I absolutely love it, especially the scenic rides (I'm discovering Hawaii at the moment). I thought I was a fairly experienced 'spinner' but this bike has so far kicked my backside - incline and resistance in studio classes is a whole new experience! The trouble is, I really want the treadmill now ...

I’m doing the exact same thing, switching from Peloton to Nordic Track. IFit does excel at the outdoor classes which I love. The features on the 22i with the auto decline/incline and fan are a fantastic addition. I watched your review videos on Peloton at the time too, always really helpful. Thanks, very cool gym space too btw!

I totally agree with you with studio v outdoor ride. I think that was the reason I ended up picking Nordic Track over Peloton as I knew I would get bored of studio and at that price point, just didnt make sense. I do love the bike, and cant wait to get back on it when I am back home from Hols. For the plug situation, I just bought a smartplug from Amazon and a surge protector aswell, so all controlled by the phone!

Nice video but after 2 years and 500+ rides, I'm not tired of the Peloton instructors. They really are motivating for me and between the instructors and the leaderboard tend to push me beyond what I'd do without those tools. Scenic rides are nice but they're more relaxing and I don't tend to get as much out of them. So I gravitate towards the instructor led ones. I use my real bike for scenic rides. However if someone prefers scenic rides, Peloton is CRAP on them. They offer only about 10 instructor-led and perhaps 100-200 do-it-yourself scenic rides of various quality. So it comes down to really that distinction for folks. You want the best spin classes in the world with a large selection of different instructors who will push you? Then Peloton is your choice. If you want more scenery and the opportunity to select YOUR specific music rather than what the instructor selects? Then NordicTrack is for you. Either way, you win by just getting on the bike and trying.

Are the new seats going to be comfortable for a 60 year old man and woman? We currently have a Nautilus U618 and the seat is large and has Nautilus Gel seat cushion technology and this seat is very comfortable for us. We have been riding it for two years now with no complaints. We are thinking about upgrading to a better bike. I can ride for up to 90 minutes and my wife can ride for up to 45 minutes.

Everything you described in your fall is why I won’t ride on the road . And in my state there’s an unusual high number of cyclists hit and runs resulting in losses. S22i safer than outside …or at least here .

I know it’s very heavy is that an issue when emptying the box or building? Wondering if I should try or just hire someone. I built my max trainer elliptical but think this is much heavier. Appreciate your videos!

Great video but buyers beware. My membership has just run out. No offers I can see and no hacks to use other platforms on the bike. Very expensive to renew !!

Honestly how hard is the maximum resistance + incline on this bike compared to something like a peloton ? Cheers
