seems this is after the allen park michigan last weekend dont know how they qualified fast ej mentioned he has to bowl again to qualify for sunday the next day from this so its 2 tourneys in a week

@@rogerrosen2323 It's five tournaments in 3 weeks at the world series: Doubles, Cheetah, Scorpion, Shark and World Championship, all held at the same venue. I think it's a great innovation to the schedule (it started a few years ago).

Shota seemed pretty nervous during certain shots, but it was definitely a great title match when all was said and done. Hoping we get to see more of him on TV again in the near future :)

When EJ struck in the 7th with that late bouncing messenger, I knew he would win. Tackett has one of the best looking swings I've ever seen!

I agree that Tackett has an awesome swing. Going back a few years, one of the most beautiful swings and releases was by Hall of Fame bowler Amaleto Monicelli. He had a release that you never heard the ball touch the lane. In the later part of his career he became a "full cranker." He changed up completely and still succeeded.

Sad for Shota, although it was nice seeing him on the PBA show. He did so well besides his nerves. But also, so happy for EJ and him finally winning in this season. He just played too well! Congratulations to all! It was a really great telecast for this season.

Really rooting for Kawazoe that last match, I don't like to root against EJ but I wanted to see Kawazoe win on PBA, just a shame he couldn't get those last 2 shots on the right lane where they needed to be, hope to see him again soon!!

I feel awful for Shota, not being able to trust himself to throw a relaxed shot on the right...but it should have been EJ's time to win, and it was. He pured nearly every shot off his hand tonight. :)

What I don’t get is Kris had the front 5 with the Attention Star on both lanes then switched to the DNA Coil on the right but stayed with the Star on the left. He never should have switched to the DNA Coil TBH

Yeah, Randy does have some personal vendetta against urethane. He complains about it in most telecasts. I think it's the bowling purist in him. He begrudgingly credits two handers too, unless they're Belmo or Simo. He gives those two the proper respect because he'd be blasted if he didn't. In future casts, watch how he talks about Troup, Svensen, and other high level two handers that aren't Belmo and Simo.

These are all great bowlers. But EJ was clearly the best tonight. Ball after ball, all high flush. He had a couple of ring 10's in the title match, but Shota was way off. I think he only threw one really flush pocket hit. The rest were brooklyns, light carries, etc. No way he was going to beat EJ tonight.

I don't understand all of the crying in the comments about two handers and two handed bowling in general. Everything changes over time. For millennia, we thought we were the center of the universe, till it was proven different. We kept believing the Earth was flat too, till it was proven different. In bowling, we thought one handed was the only way to do it, till it was proven different. Grow with the times or get lost to time. C'mon people!
