Holy incredible summit to MT Whitney Lil'Chap!!!! What incredible views!! OMG! Congrats to you and Hammer on your first 14er! Incredibly awesome! - Shybee
So fricken happy for y’all!!😭😭 👏🏻⛰️Thank you for giving us all the feels and spectacular views. Memories are forever and you have a lot more memories to make on this trek. The weather in the Sierra can come in regularly and quick in the Afternoons with thunderstorms. Love your tramily 🤩 Hike on! ☮️
When I reached the top of Whitney, I cried like a baby. I did it with my son. I almost cried right along with you. I know that feeling. You're crying, but it's the most amazing feeling you've ever had.
Congratulations to you, Fireball and Hollywood. My favorite PCT video yet. You are an extremely talented vlogger and tell a great story. I have to say that you choked up this old man when you reached the summit. You all have such great energy and are a joy to watch. Thank you for sharing and taking us along on this amazing journey!!!!
I love the photo at the end of you, Fireball and Hollywood with genuine big smiles. That is a photo you will look back on for years to come, and it will warm your heart every time.
Guys you can’t get much higher- well no higher! Beautiful filming especially that shot of the moon through the gap. You’re first group I’m following to make it to the top. Congratulations aren’t enough.😊
So so proud of the 3 of you!! What a wonderful video!! It's so great that you are not racing your way up the PCT and enjoying what the trail has to offer.
I did Mt Whitney back in 2000, really wasn't affected by it. In 2019 I did White Mountain Peak, another CA 14er, and soon after crossing above 14 thousand ft, I started to get euphoric and weepy. I had brought a flask of spiced rum, that I typically had taken a draw from after summitting peaks; but I thought it wise not to take a shot on top of being euphoric. The fuzzy guy at 7:52 is a pika, the real life creature pikachu is named after. They look like rodents, but are in the lagomorph family, with rabbits and hares. They store up granaries of alpine flowers in the warm season to make it through the winter.
My first thought (and not just for you, but for other PCT thru-hikers I've watched) was 'what on earth for' in climbing Mt. Whitney when there's 2650 miles to walk. I understand now. Thanks for that...
So cool to see you three on top of Mt Whitney. There will be other mountains along the PCT, but none as iconic-well, I guess Mt Rainier-or as close to summit under the conditions when you arrive (way too dangerous out of season). Your photos of the climb are incredible, such beauty is hard to capture and you did a great job grabbing the memories of a lifetime. See you on the trail!
I’ve seen other videos of point Whitney . Been following pct hikes for 4 years. But your video gave me chills! Excellent footage! I understand your tears just from that perspective alone! Well done.
Amazing! Thx for sharing your journey! One day I plan to do this hike in memory of my son that passed away in 2021…….I could see him climbing these mountains like a boss and loving every second of it!
Awesome video!!! So proud of y’all, Lil Chap, Hammer & Fireball. Your video footage was making me tear up with you Lil Chap, what an accomplishment. Keep up the good hike, stay safe.❤❤❤
He was lucky to pass there 1 week later, the conditions improved a lot. Prior a lot of hikers skipped, Rach and Dan for example turned around during their attempt.
Congrats on summiting Mount Whitney. Of the RU-vidrs I'm following you are the first to get to the top of Mount Whitney this year. Some tried and failed, most just skipped it. 😎👍
Sitting here on my lunch break in Las Vegas...so proud of y'all for tackling Mt Whitney dont u dare tear up! Then ill start crying too 😂🎉❤🎉 yall r killing it💪 way to go🎉❤🎉so proud of u lil Chap💪
I'm halfway thru...keep saying to myself..they did it..they did it. I wasn't sure about the conditions of the trail. I'm so happy for you guys...follow Hollywood too...I'd follow Fireball if she had a channel. Your gratitude is so meaningful. I've never met you all and think.."I just love these people " you're real...just presenting the trail as it comes and speaking from the heart. I'm going to finish watching now 😊 . Congratulations on Whitney! WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT ❤
Congrats! I summitted Whitney last summer at the end of a short backpacking trip. We started at Guitar Lake and exited at Whitney Portal. I think I slept only a few hours the night before and we started our ascent at around 3am. I also cried a bit at the top when I met up with my son (who was ahead of me) and we shared a big hug. It was my SECOND 14er since had climbed Mt. Langley a couple days before. You had a much better view at the summit than we did because we were totally surrounded by clouds! We did have good views on the way up and down, just not at the very top.
So proud of you 3! Isn't are creator, GOD so wonderful. He let you see how grand his love for you really is, you felt it ❤️. You are so blessed to see his splendor, but some times he makes us work for it. Continue on an enjoy GOD'S splendor in a new spirit of enlightenment. Well done, Chap!
I didn’t know you could top summiting Mt Katahdin but WOW!!!! Unbelievable. So amazing and quite proud of the three of you for your incredible accomplishment. 🤩
Yayyy!!! Congratulations!!! Spectacular footage. What a view from top of the lower 48 :) The climb up through the predawn light was magical. I'm so happy for all 3 of you!!!
Wowzer! 🎉congratulations-you survived the altitude! And those silhouettes and sunrise best photos I’ve seen so far! Thanks for sharing! (And that reckless fireball made it too! 😂😂😂)
Congratulations to all 3 of you!!! What an accomplishment. One day, I'm getting to the top of that mountain hopefully too (Hubby and I want to hike the JMT when we retire). And yes, I'll probably cry too. Continue enjoying the Sierra Nevada! It truly is a special place.
Wow, I’ve been watching all of your vids, this one maybe I should not have. I’m 60, starting the JMT NOBO later this summer and 1st stop, Whitney. It took YOU five hours and you said it was the hardest after hiking 700 miles? I’m nervous. I’ll keep watching.
Great video today. Congrats on making it to the top of Whitney. Spectacular views from up there! It will be interesting to see how you decide to handle the next few days with your food running low. I hope the weather cooperates so you can get over Forester.
I am watching you from the other side of the planet. I am in awe of your achievements - we only have hills Kosciuszko is only 7,310 ft ( nothin really - you've been above that for ever). I had leaking eyes when you got to the top.
Guys you can’t get much higher- well no higher! Beautiful filming especially that shot of the moon through the gap. You’re first group I’m following to make it to the top. Congratulations aren’t enough.😊
