I'm always intrigued by curated collections, i have a very large collection and started project panning and i want a smaller collection now. I have learned a lesson for sure that less is more. Beautiful collection
Thank you for this inspiring video, Vicki! I wish I had found you before I had found all the content creators that collect and hoard makeup. I bought way too much makeup over the pastyear and half, and now I’m paying for it, having to figure out what to do with it all before it expires! I love your idea of no-buy, replacement only. Once I get my collection kind of settled and have a better idea of what I need and use regularly, I’m definitely going to do that. I just discovered makeup about a year and a half ago, so it’s been a learning process. Trying to give myself grace for that. :-) I can’t remember if I reported back, my color analysis with House Of Colour found that I’m “soft sweet pea summer”. I think that means light summer. I’ve really been enjoying curating my wardrobe with the colors that work best for me! Do you know of any House Of Colour resources such as RU-vid videos besides the ones you did? (which were extremely helpful by the way, as House Of Colour seems to have their own language, lol.)
Don't be so hard on yourself, you only discovered makeup recently so it makes sense that you wanted to explore and try lots of new things! As you get more used to what you like and actually wear then it makes it so much easier to narrow down what you own and create a more realistic makeup collection. How exciting you're a summer! There's lots of HoC consultants on Instagram that post great content, that would be my first suggestion to follow lots of them there (regardless of if they share your colour season, it just depends on the quality of their content). Thanks for letting me know :)
