Public gatherings attract all kinds unfortunately. Good ones and weirdos. Trust your instincts and stay safe.

Sweetheart, I'm concerned you are talking way too much about being disabled. There are men out there like your "friend" that I question when they react that way that they may be peas in the same pod. Just having a daughter doesn't make a man respectful of any woman, including his daughter. I know girls (my generation) that were molested repeatedly by their fathers. Same with other's molested by their brother's and their father's did nothing about it. You need to be very careful what you post. You don't want to look venerable. When we women act and appear strong and capable of caring for ourselves we won't attract the same or quantity of negative reactions from men. If you ever have anyone acting suspicious around your campsite again get your camera out and video him/her/them. If they are doing bad stuff they don't want to be identified. Nor do they want the police involved. Also, there are men who cruse the internet looking for venerable people, especially women. Your videos leave you open to that. Also, Never post from the area you are staying in. Always move, days away (are best) before posting if your video has anything that could reveal where you are by word, or pictures. Don't give accurate details about where you are either. Use info that can make it confusing if someone is looking to find you who isn't someone who would call you before coming. Better yet, always indicate you are camping or traveling with a group. IF you GUT tells you something is BAD, BELIEVE IT. I'm not in the RV scene yet but, I have camped alone, backpacked, hiked, bicycled and driven lonely roads. You need to be prepared both physically and physiologically to deal with any problem or issue that arises. Even when my husband and children were with me we were always alert to others around and what their intentions might be. It is dangerous out there sometimes. Most of the time it is safe and fun. Just be prepared for that one off that is bad. Blessings and safe travels.
