I picked up my spring check sled today, a 2024 Skidoo Expedition Extreme and do a walk around review. There are two exhaust clips for those interested. Enjoy

LOVE my 23. What a beast of a snowmobile. Get compliments everywhere i ride it.

Its hard not to, beast is the word for it. My theory is it will be really good on the trail, good enough in deep snow and offer good long term durability for high mile rides in canada and maine and newyork. And i love the 2 up seat set up. So much easier to take on and off than the more permanent renegade set up

@@knapton29 well lets hope for some snow. I only road it about 220 miles last year but i also didnt ride it in terrible conditions. It was 220 of honestly fun riding and ill take that over driving it in slop

I’ve got the 2023 Expedition SE with the 900 Turbo and the 600 Ace Sport. Really enjoyed both last year. The 900 Turbo also has the 1.8 track and does amazing in the deep snow. I use mine to go in and out to my cabin, so pulling utility sleds is a must. More than enough power to do what I need which includes riding for the enjoyment.

Sounds great. I dont yet have an off grid cabin but its something i wouldnt mind if something came up. Thats why i snagged this sled when i could, i think its going to serve me well. I cant wait to get it on the trail. Have a great season thanks for watching!

What garmin overlander bracket are you using

Its called the garmin overlander cage mount and includes a ram mount that you dont use. I just have it mounted direct to the expanded glove compartment lid with the charging cable though into the glove compartment and plugged in

The running boards on the wide track machine needs to improve, the 4strokes produce a lot of heat, the snow mixes with the heat by the foot and a lot of ice build up happens by the foot wells. I see newest Ski doo hade perhaps little more holes, but I want to se basically what the mountain machines have

I'm not 100% sure but I think studding that track with conventional studs is not recommended. I've got the same sled and was told that due to the additional windows cut into the track and the difference in the fibreglass reinforcement rods, which are features that keep the track noise down, conventional studs should be avoided.

Already worked that out with studboy. Many expeditions with these tracks have been done with studs. Not that im a stud expert but i understand these studs are different than conventional. Different backers for sure. These studs are specifically made for single ply tracks.

Thats just a 12x6. Works great but with no front fairing make sure to cover your sled or its going to get nasty. My buddy just snagged an older tilt deck snowmobile trailer. Its 10 long and full width. It was so awesome to bring that instead. He paid 600 bucks and we fixed some supports and support tubes for the front fairing. Well worth the investment

I actually changed my order to 900turbo r from 850. I ordered it specifically for long trips and i plan to put alot of miles on this sled.

It comes in basic black like henry ford wanted but the color doesnt make the man. Id ride this sled in pink, it looks sweet in the neo mint color it is
