[2024 Solved] How to Fix HDMI Port Not Working on Laptop | Win 10 

HDMI port stopped working on HP Zbook 15 G5 mobile workstation after bios update that was initiated (forced) during a pesky Windows 10 update. Solution: Booted into BIOS and changed the graphic display from Intel UHD (integrated) back to superior Nvidia Quadro P1000 (discrete). HDMI port started working after next boot into Win 10. Don’t know why HDMI port does not work under Intel UHD graphics and will not do any more research. Incidently, while the HDMI port does not work under Intel UHD graphics, when I plugged the monitor into the HDMI port of a Wavlink USB-C docking station, that worked fine. 👍
