Two methods for remote starting your 4th Gen Tacoma. As it gets warmer, it can make a difference to start cooling the truck before getting to it! Just make sure the AC is running when your turn the truck off. Keep in mind the truck will run for 10 minutes before turning off.

1. how do you have 20.2 MPG? How do you drive? Where at? 2. Why does your controls/knobs for your A/C have the temp on the knob itself? Mine does not have that and I have a 24’ Tacoma Off Road aswell…

Thanks! Love my garage! It is a 3 car with one side stacked so it looks like a 2 car garage from outside. I have had three vehicles in when needed. Just need to clean up some stuff!

I want one, I want the sr5 4x4. I don’t need all that features for extra cost, just want to do light camping and fishing. Light outdoors and daily stuffs

I hear you! SR5 is a great value! All trims will be able to remote start with connected services which everyone gets for one year from activation!

Do you have to have the remote connect subscription for the fob start too? I just got my truck a few days ago and the dealer said the only way to remote start it was from the app. Just wondering after my year of service is up if the fob still works? I'll probably keep the service anyway cause I live in Alaska and the winters are cold... Love the climate settings for remote start hope they add seat warmers to it

The remote start works with the FOB or app as long as you have connected services which everyone gets for 1 year and then $89 a year after that.

Hey so I tried this out and it's awesome especially cause the app sometimes doesn't connect... But now when I get in my truck it says "new key registered contact dealer" Anyway to get rid of this popup? Thanks for the video

@@planoman0935You are probably right... Around the same day I tried your autostart with the fob I started the digital key... It probably has something to do with that cause my phone is always with me in the truck
