Regarding Indycar safety: they're arguably the safest open wheel cars on the planet, considering the worst-case scenario they're designed around is a catch fence wreck at 220+ MPH. Literally the entire car outside the survival cell is designed to either break away or crumple on impact to dissipate energy.
Bloody William Byron I swear to god, he cuts down in front of Brad too soon and then gets into Chastain. That's two errors in the space of two corners. Championship contender my arse.
Fun fact: I was watching this race on a stream. They said they bet on Chastain to win so they could win like $400. Just like Chastain after the race, they might not be talking on media for a while.
Weekend recap: Toyotas continue to be good teammates that work really well with each other despite there only being like 8 to 9 of them on a weekly basis
I’m a huge NASCAR fan and actually looking for something like this a bunch of people who I can watch the race with live in real time as things are happening.
Regarding 2:03 about the Kim Cam....it's been more than "several years" of Kim Cam hype. Kim's been a nervous wreck like this since 1990. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hS7rUAzRR64.html
And to think, we could have had a competent and exciting Indycar race here. Bjt instead, NASCAR has to swing their dick around and give at least three other drivers concussions.
I only like when he wins cause everyone gets irrationally angry when he wins . Same can be said for Denny but dennys an ass , Chase just seems like a quiet guy that everyone gets irrationally upset at when he wins cause he’s the fan favorite but he has a stale personality.
I mean the biggest safety problem with Indycar isn't even discussed here, its the fact the series has records and statistics (sadly the death rates per track type) that Ovals are too dangerous for open wheel cars and yet they still refuse to outright ban them. 93% of american (non dirt) openwheel fatalities occur on ovals. Its become a fact no matter how safe they make the cars if they continue to race on ovals drivers will still be killed.
The idea of Chase being the "golden boy" who had not won in 40 plus races is the most laughable thing I have ever heard. Please look up the definition of what a "golden boy" is first, so you can realize the many breaks Kyle Larson has received since 2021 make him a much better candidate and even lately he is not a great candidate for it. The idea of any down-home Georgia boy being a "golden boy" is pure comedy gold.
I think they are upset because Chase is sort of a bland personality and keeps winning most popular driver. It’s sort of the reason I moved away from being a big fan of his
@@chuckowiley Where do you get he has a bland personality at??? Larson has a bland personality. Haven't heard anyone complain about his yet. Once again for some odd reason people like to hate on Chase. The excuse was his female fans at one time, but since Larson's male fans have surpassed them in being annoying af they had to change it up...I guess it is this personality BS now...
@@damienblack1283 dude, I’m not hating on Chase. When he won the championship I was a huge fan of his. It’s just that compared to other drivers like Kyle Busch or Denny Hamlin. He’s happy when he wins, he gets mad when anyone else would get mad. There is something to like about him, but much less than other drivers. Also, Hendrick in total doesn’t have a whole lot of personality, but Chase is more of a stone face than at least Byron and Larson
