I have a 2017 XSE. Couldn't be happier. Some people seek luxury and status. I seek a reliable car because I'm an average person lol

I have a '24 SE Hybrid. I get an average of 65 mpgs on my daily 50 mile commute. I bought it under msrp and no dealer options. Affordable and reliable, it doesn't get better than that for a commuter vehicle.

Some people want a Lamborghini, some a Porsche, some a Tesla; for me it's this 2024 Toyota Corolla. Mostly it's the reliability, but also Toyota safety sense 3.0.

@@chevy4x466 It's a good point, I don't know truthfully. They aren't importing any of them from Japan for the U.S. I guess only time will tell; but it's not made in Mexico at least.

nobody but Elon Musk wants a Tesla, but nobody wants a Corolla. you choose it because, you need a car for daily driving.

@@JeymezThat's not true though. Plenty of people can honestly say they love their Corolla and continue to buy them. You just think everyone desires driving luxury cars and that's not the case.

I like the looks of the hatchback but I'd prefer a locking trunk so the sedan wins. In any case, the Corolla is a low cost, high mileage car for people who love dependability and function but don't want to spend a lot of money, a clear winner considering today's cost of living crisis.

Its not a nissan. The jatco transmissions were the ones that gave cvts a bad name. These ones are toyota and they have a planetary 1st gear so its less strained

So you can get heated seats in ANY of the hybrid models. There is no XSE hybrid. Only options are XSE sedan and XSE hatchback. WTF.

@@bextar6365 why? Oh god where do I begin?😂 The corolla isn’t very attractive vs other rivals The interior is the worst in class. The interior build quality and materials remind of a cheaper GM product The interior space is also the worst in class. The tech and features are ancient The powertrains are lackluster. It’s the slowest in the class and it can get very expensive. The price of a corolla XSE can get you a civic touring w the 1.5T The handling and driving experience are the worst in class. The GR corolla has been having overheating issues from the AWD system. The interior is still subpar. And it’s overpriced. And it’s not as fast as a golf R. Not as refined as the CTR or golf R

Cheap plasticky interior, CVT, dealer markups, forced port installed and dealer installed accessories, torsion beam rear suspension on the gasoline Corolla LE sedan etc. No thanks Toyota. I’d much rather pay around the same price and buy a far superior Mazda 3 or Honda Civic

The Honda 1.5L engines have a design flaw in the block that causes head gasket blowouts. Also consider the oil dilution issues on the Honda engines as well. Their reliability has taken a hit lately.
