2024 Toyota RAV4 Limited | A $40,000 RAV4?! | Walkaround Review and Test Drive 

Hey Guys! I just wanted to mention that the RAV4 does have a kick sensor below the tailgate! I did try to kick under the tailgate a few times before filming to check if it did but it didn't work for me, I apologize! Thank you for watching!

I do not understand why there’s LED tail lights and LED lights above the plate and LED inside but not LED blinkers in the back or LED reverse lights.

There are too many I don't knows for a review on a $40k vehicle.

Just ordered one and will be here in a couple of weeks. No packages! Did order with door edge protectors, mud guards, body side molding , carpeted floor mats & window tint. Mag gray. By the way the Advanced Tech package gives you the foot activated lift gate. Thanks for your opinion.

I believe that the lean back that you're mentioning in the rear seat is because the seat back reclines check and see if there's an adjustment on the corner

I was told the seats are Softex, not leather.

Great review. I am looking at a new Limited model to replace my 2013. I want one before they are available in Hybrid only. Here is my question. To get the panoramic view monitor I have to purchase not one but 2 packages at a cost of almost $2,000! I don't care for all the other options in the packages, just the panoramic view monitor. Is it worth it? I've never had it. (my other 2 Toyotas don't have it). Thanks for your time.

Hi just to make clarify, the taillights and brake lights are always LED regardless of the trim since 2019. It’s just that Toyota doesn’t make it too good looking/obvious enough, unless it’s at night.

Do they have cooling seats option instead of heated seats? Not a fan of heated seats

The Rav4 Woodland would be a better buy, comes with better rims, fog lights and is a hybrid and the price is about 6k less. Everything is exactly the same minus the fake leather seats and power lift gate.

DANGEROUS TIRE NOTICE: Get the Toyo Open Country A39 tires off your Rav4 immediately. They came with my Limited and I suspect the XLE premium also comes with them. First time on highway travelling at 84 kilometres per hour in rain with only about 2mm or less than 1/8” of rain the in very shallow tire ruts on asphalt caused the rav4 to hydroplane. I have never hydroplaned in 42 years of driving. I felt the vehicle having trouble (resistance) in 2mm of rain standing the the tire ruts beginning at about 64 kilometres per hour but did not hydroplane until 84 kms/hour. Getting Continental ExtremeContact DWS06 plus this week at my Ontario Toyota dealership after much research.

You need to look at the RAV4 limited in the hybrid version. So many more standard items. Not worth buying this vehicle unless it is a hybrid.

Awesome review! thanks for the ride! As a total car guy, I don't find these SUVs particular exciting, the Toyota is very boring, but if I was to jump behind the wheel of one, sign me up for the Mitsubishi RVR!

Wow, great specs for the price. Overhere in the Netherlands you won’t get any RAV4 for $40.000. I’ve bought the 2023 model last year in the base model trim for €48000, which translates to around $52000. The top trim costs €65000, around $71000.

Great review! How well do the cool seats work? I know that if you are running the AC then they are "cooled" and if you are not running the AC they are "ventilated".
