all very interesting .... however it would be better if volvo, instead of thinking about the orders of the 2024 model, started to deliver the 2023 model which is extremely late on the expected delivery times ...
Parking sensors now comes as standard because of new eu regulation. All cars are required to have "reversing detection with camera or sensors" amongst some other safety features. This applies to "new vehicle types from today onwards and to all new vehicles from 7 July 2024"
How do you turn off eco mode in the new ones? We've got one as a rental in SW Florida. It's annoying and hot as balls when the AC shuts off at every stop sign and street light
And haha did you know that in China Volvo Asia Pacific even update the carpet and rear seats for S90? The new carpet for S90L claimed to be noice-reducing and the rear seats were prolonged. In China, owners are really annoyed about the quietness and comfort Volvo cars are which make Volvo really behind its German rivals Mercedes, BMW and Audi. The Chinese market is just so unique. FYI: I am a MY21 V60 B5 owner in China

Hi! Any updates on MY21 B5 Polestar Optimization program? Apparently only MY22 and so on get the Polestar program as I heard that MY 21 B engines have cylinder deactivation which is why until now MY21 still not available with Polestar program. So any updates on that? Thx

I expect it to be the same as the 2023 offer to limit big changes in price and such. The updates from MY23 to MY24 are very general on purpose by Volvo to prevent in case of delays many customers will have to change their order and have price impacts etc.

In the countries where the MY23 is sold out the dealership will now offer you a MY24 spec. Mostly EU countries. I believe the US will only get the Polestar Engineered version, would suggest to check out the US Pricelist to see if it’s a MY23 or 24. Otherwise just let your dealership know you want a MY24, they are able to order it once VCUS will open the orderbook!
My local volvo store here in winter park Florida is receiving two My23 V60 Recharge models at the end of the month. Call and talk to Ian to put your name on one. My wife and I are picking up the crystal white one fully loaded. Just tell him Alex sent you.
Such a bummer that my V60 T8 will be delivered around april 2023 so I'll miss out on the faster charging.. oh well, gonna leave it plugged in overnight anyway so it isn't a huge deal.
I have ordered the Model 23 V60 Recharge Plus and looking forward to receive by December. I wonder for future upgrade options I can upgrade to the 7 kw charging option.

Unfortunately I can't find it now, but I saw this question answered on the Swedespeed forum, and the answer was no. Apparently it's not as simple as just upgrading the charger itself; the entire system is configured for the 3.7kWh. I'd love to hear that this is incorrect, but that's what I've read...
I expect this won't be possible as the wiring, hardware etc. won't be the same. For example, it's already extremely difficult for Volvo to find a retrofit solution for the handsfree tailgate sensor which wasnt available due to semi conductor shortages. Imagine an OBC... ;-)
Ooh you’re gonna love it. I work at Volvo, but have only driven the XC60 T8 extended range. It’s an absolute blast!! Can’t wait to experience that drive train in a proper sedan :)
High demand and low supply. The UK gets an X amount of allocations and once filled for the modelyear you need to wait for the next one. Pretty much all countries have a high demand for the v60 phev but VC cant produce sufficient amounts, sadly! Patience is key here.. 😉
My dealer told me they prioritise the XC60 over the V60. I ordered a V60 and an XC60 in hybrid in december 2022. The XC60 will be delivered late June, the V60 will be early 2024.
Interior is already so outdated and yet functionality is compromised. Small door pockets, no sunshades, no adjustable rear seats. New Google media are so unpolished and per current standards just primitive. Small symbols, basic functions deep in the menu, central screen unconfigurable (see the annoying center portion which is black hole if the map is not displayed. Trip computer still uses these mysterious TM etc. nomenclature rather than simply say avg fuel consumption etc! If it was ergonomic then simplicity was a virtue but it is neither user friendly nor attractive visually. Look at many "non-premium" products (what does it mean these days?) and see how modern infotainment system should look (well, at least visually; ergonomics suffer in many cases). Reliability require immediate attention, especially electronics. Used to be Volvo fan but cannot justify these several deficiencies, clearly visible to those who know something about automotive world.
how many good stories .... pity they do not respect the delivery times of the cars .... I had to receive the car after six months, 12 have passed and it still does not arrive. don't buy volvo.
@@sandersson2813 As I mention in the vid, it's already available for order in selected markets where the MY23 offer is sold out. Hence the new updates. 😊
