The 2025 Acura MDX Type-S has some significant updates includes a new 31 speaker Bang and Olufsen sound system, Front Cross Traffic Warning, Lane Change Collision Mitigation, Microsuede inserts on the seats, and a new 12.3" Touchscreen with Google Navigation built in. We will have a look at all of these features during this point of view test drive video.

The piano black is sickening. I own a 2023 MDX and the amount of piano black is disgusting and blinding in the sun. It makes the interior feel and look cheaper and also makes your face look bad in the reflection due to it being curved. I almost got a genesis gv80 just because of the piano black.

Hey Dietrich, I own a 2024 MDX type s, do you notice the extra quietness for 2025 model year type s? And also, any changes to the drive?

Hello Bradley, I did not notice that any differences in the drive, but I do think the cabin seemed a bit quieter. I know that Acura has put more sound deadening into the 2025 models, but without taking it on the highway and doing 80+ MPH, which I haven't done yet, I don't think I can say if it made a huge difference or not

Apple Carplay can take take up all of the screen to the right of that menu bar. So it doesn't have to be split with that 3rd clock/compass/mileage view on the right

I have an Acura TLX Type S, but when it comes to trucks and SUVs I'm usually a Toyota guy. However, the MDX Type S is very nice. I'm going to wait and take a look at the new Land Cruiser and new 4Runner before I decide, but it's definitely on the wish list.

9.2 mpg 😂 you gotta be kidding me. Despite Japanese work horse they gotta improve fuel economy. I know few Acura fans would say reliability. Well I got MDX 2020 and it got a recall for crank bearing and crank shaft recall. 😊
